Hi folks, I urgently need a set of pads and brakes shoes. The wheels came off today and they are both completely worn. If you have some to sell or know of any stock available please let me know. Thanks

There are lots of places keep brake pads, the handbrake shoes are a bit harder to get in a hurry. There is a sticky thread with all the potential sources for brake linings.

Just had a note from them to confirm the cost, so a big saving. Will let you know how long it took to get them back.

Get Mintex pads, they are brilliant for fast road application.

It you need track pads, go EBC YellowStuff.

Tks I went for yellow stuff as had seen them quoted on the forum from ebcbrakes, will keep mintex in mind for next time.

Got mine back before I sent them!
Work that out!

They sent me a new set on the proviso I would send them my old set - which of course I did

The shoes are on there way to Belfast brakes, they are very worn. Will post up a photo of the refurbishment when they are returned.

I have a set of used shoes for a March 03 4200, happy to give them to anyone wanting to have a refurbed set ready to go in from Belfast, theirs can then be recycled and passed on etc.

Just shout and I can bring to Brunty, Ace or other SM meet or pick up or cost of postage only...

Of no use to me now :)

as a slight aside has anyone tried Pagid brake pads (blue or orange)?

Welcome back - been away longer than Terry Waite!

btw - echo Matt - my Asseto Corsa had pagid fitted from new, unsure what colour.

FYI been running the QP on EBC yellowstuff, which are great but dusty :cough:
Now trying EBC redstuff

you will not be disappointed - just got handbrake set for my QP. I have even fitted and adjusted them such that i can use the function known as "handbrake"

Just don't use it when the car is wet or you won't have one for long!

Mine works perfectly. Every time I press the 'Park Off' button, I get a little message saying 'EPB Off' on the screen. What more could I ask for? ;)

unattended car rolling away, when the EPB goes "off duty"?
Guessing the ZF would be in "park" anyway.
