There's no need to remove the coating, this is normal stuff

But I will check with them tomorrow, plus the torque settings for the fixing bolts

Certainly look Good to me and will be interested to follow the feedback from driving with the new bar on.
Hope it doesn't put a check light on.

Guys, Is it possible if you have any technical queries regarding the bar kits to give Niko a call on 01423 202031 as his team designed and made them, he's a very helpful guy, just mention the forum buy

Its just as I haven't seen one yet so its difficult for me to comment

Cheers,Dave

Spoke to Niko at Cornering Force

He says the clamps will be tight on bar and will bed in over a short time, put them on with the supplied grease and clamp up.

He is going to re-manufacture the nuts to the correct size, M10x1.25 which is what I've measured on mine, can someone double check? They are a custom job so it may take some time, I'm not sure whether there will be a cost associated with this.

He still has the one to go to Holland (I think) so he might keep that back until new nuts are ready.

Couple of pics for Dave as he’s not seen one.

Got mine today too. Like Xmas all over again. It will be fitted at the Springtime service.
Thanks Dave and Matt for organising this.

Cheers mate, They like look impressive especially the mounts.. they must have a CAD programme on there milling machine
God knows how they achieved the last two bends!

Apparently there's quite a pile in the corner that didn't work out!

And don't forget there still one kit left if anyone's interested

Still waiting for the correct pitch nuts. The design of the new brackets being different from the original is such that the custom made nuts are necessary before we can fit properly - unless anybody else has other information.

Ok guys, I've been on to Nico this morning regarding the bar mountings..
Just to reiterate, they only supply solid mounts with all there products and have never had a problem before, even on 5 year old rally cars!

The plastic powder coating with anodised ali mountings are apparently perfect bed fellows for anti roll bars!
However, after a bit of a chit chat there now going to investigate in making some polyurethane mountings available too, so basically you can either have the competion spec ali mounts or the polyurethane girly version;)

There going to get back to me next week

Cheers

Dave

Dave, thanks for coming back and yes, definitely interested if the kit is still available. I live in The Netherlands so hope sending it over here is not an issue?

Adrian
