So I'm going to be going to the ring to watch the 24 hour of madness and proper aggressive racing. I've never been to the ring and to avoid temptation of driving myself around there, going for an event like this means it won't be possible.... (or so he says)

The plan will be to leave on Thursday 26th and head into Europe. Stay at a pre-determined location on the France/Luxembourg border.

Friday - a trip with some twisty roads through luxembourg / Germany - Another stay at a pre-determined location

Saturday - arrive at the Ring. When I have gone to Le Mans, I have usually not booked a hotel or camping and have slept at the side of the track, if I sleep at all. I will however be up for booking accommodation and or camping for the race night.

Sunday - leave the circuit to a pre-determined stop for some rest. (As close as we can - I've driven after lemans and its a nightmare)

Monday - Return to blighty.

I'll be booking tickets and accommodation at the end of November.

Nurburgring 24 Hours | Tickets-2-U Home - Tickets-2-u - The BEST way to buy your Motorsport tickets

£125 per person for a camping pitch, £80 for general admission.

I'll post where I am staying etc, and it will be up to you to book your own accommodation (hopefully at the same place.)
When I have organised trips before it is a nightmare getting people to part with money, so you will have to book your own everything.

You will need to check your insurance for european travel, as well as covid rules etc etc etc.

24hours of spa is a GT race at the end of July, the 6 hours is a WEC race in May.

The race at the end of July would fit well with Le Mans being back at the beginning of June next year and the VTPOB trip at the end of Sept.

Ok, so in preparation for May here's the beginning of the list. At present it's just me going, and i've got the gate pass for the time, so I'm hoping to at least get one other ;)

Re your sign off… It should be spelt “please bear with me”. Please bare with me makes you sound like a flasher. I don’t often correct peoples spelling, but I see it every time your posts appear. Which is a lot.

I'm happy to be a flasher. I've also written my signature purposely, with ironic intent ;) :D
