2026 Scottish Car Shows

Hi If I may post here for registration/attendance details for the car show held by the SDCCC at Bridge of Allan on Sunday 10th May 2026.
The Committee has decided to open entries for the show from Sunday 21st December and all entries will be closed on the 14th of March.

It would be nice to have some of the Scottish Maserati owners display their cars,'Classic'is a very broad term. all cars are welcome.

In my opinion all Maserati's are 'Classic'!
Last year we had over 850 cars on display. I know because I made up and distributed the Goody bags!

Sad to miss the Bridge of Allan show this year, but I'm at Spa for the 6 hour endurance race with some friends, it's been a fantastic show the past couple of years.

I should be at Hopetoun House though
 
unfortunately the only Italian we have now is the mito, a good car but not worthy of showing so will not be going this year I'm afraid.
 
Just an update on the Bridge of Allan show. 10th May
We had to close car entries early as we are absolutely full
Last year we had around 850 show entries this year we had to cap it at 1050.

My next job it to make up the goody bags! No problem! (Sheesh) as we are a registered charity i know all the money we raise will be going to good causes.
 
I’ve booked for Hopetoun, looking forward to meeting any of you that are there. Last year was insane with work so hoping to get out to some of the shows and any meets, and get actively involved with the forum. Might even get the Ducati out of hibernation! Can’t make10th unfortunately.

Just a quick update entries are now closed for our annual car show at Bridge of Allan on the 10th of May

We have record number of cars on display this year (1035) so it does seem that the show is becoming one of the premier car shows in Scotland.


Few realise the work involved in staging such an event.

Being on the committee I have had first hand experience of just how involved it is.

Everything from permission from the Council, Insurance, Police, Ambulance, Fire, hiring of fences, Loos, permission for traffic cones etc. etc.

And that's before we send out the passes or tape out the area for the cars

There is a lot more but that's just a general idea at what's involved.

However when it all comes right, there is a real buzz!

Speak? Oh no you do not do that at car meetings.
You pose at the side of your car, and disdain to look at lesser mortals driving Alfas or Fiats, Sniff....

Alternatively, just say Hi and the rest takes care of itself!

you'll fit in just fine..........social awkwardness part of being a maserista ;)............remember and take a brolly though, fond of raining on Hopetoun day from memory, but at least Mas' are parked next to the cafe!
 
Just a reminder that the SDCCC car show at Bridge of Allan is on Sunday 10th May .We are hosting over 1100 Cars this year the most we have ever had, and fingers crossed the weather looks to be ok for this weekend.
