2024 Maserati GranTurismo reveals its interior

Thanks for posting the pics.
Each to their own, of course, but the interior does not do it for me. Back seats ok, but it looks like someone is sitting in them even when they are unoccupied. Door cards look nice - free from gratuitous styling. But the dash. What didn't happen there? Take a look at any 20 year old TVR. That little company had fabulous dashes. Swoopy, like this cars door cards.
Sadly, driving involves more looking at the dash than at the back seats or door cards. So I think, based on looks alone, I would rather be in a TVR than one of these. ;)

Far too many graphics on the central control screen. Imagine navigating/using that whilst driving in a spirited fashion.

TBH I think you could say that about many modern cars Ewan, as anything that takes your eyes off the road is a risk. I'm not a great fan of centralised services anyway as you have a single point of failure when everything is controlled from one screen and you're scr3wed if it goes blank. Likewise the QP VI only has one column stalk, and I'm not a fan of that either.

Sadly, such are the perils of modern life; Maserati should adopt engine turned dashboards with big clunky switches that can be operated by gentleman drivers:

I think the infotainment is from the latest Jeep offerings. It is what it is.

I think, overall, it looks ace.

I like the interior, it’s a **** if they do, **** if they don’t situation
Every modern car has overly fussed interior nowadays rightly or wrongly so they had to I guess

...at least it doesn't have the gaudy stick-on iPad thing that MB did for a bit. My 2022 GMC Sierra has an allllll digital dash...and it's like being on the bridge of the Enterprise. I do still love the ol' analog stuff...

Well I like. Not a fan of big touch screens as they are pointless and a distraction but that aside the style of the seats , leather etc is a massive improvement and modern which it needed to be. I think the new GT is fantastic…stupidly priced…but fantastic.

I don’t mind screens per se, just think it needs fewer and larger icons so that they are easier to see and touch just at a glance. The one in the photo above looks too busy.
I drove a new autobiography Rangie last week, and that was better.

It’s the same system in Jeep Grand Cherokee L etc. Looks like almost a carbon copy of the screen in my BM, which I quite like.

Not for me having a iPad stuck on your dashboard I would rather have a full set of dials and rocker switches.
I will be in a 70's Jaguar hopefully this year and know I can look after it until I peg it.

Looks lovely although very similar to the Grecale. If you have a good condition GT/GC spend £5k at the trimmers to wrap all the dodgy vinyl in leather and Alcantara - save yourself a fortune.

I like it in the black but like others have said I’m not a fan of digital dials. Ok the centre screen yeah but give me an analogue dial any day of the week.

Strangely enough we too delivery of the wife’s new 318i about 4 hours ago after ordering in May and holy **** it’ll take me an age to figure it all out.

But have you read the effing manual? :D

The new GT is pretty much a rehash of the original GT, which is a good thing. It's a stunning looking car, even if i say so myself. Modernising the interior too, is good and it's been tastefully done. As for the infotainment screen, the idea is to set it up before you drive. It takes just a few minutes , to set up your destination, the right tunes etc before driving off.
