I have an F30 3 series with idrive. Mine feels like Sputnik compared to this thing. Fixing oil rigs is easier than that bloody thing!

I made a similar leap 3 years ago. Now everything else seems clunky and archaic.

I mean, ask it for a weather forecast. Or a weather forecast at your destination. Or the nearest petrol stations (with prices). Tell it to put the heated seat on when it’s below 5 degrees outside. It has native Spotify. When I tell mine to navigate home, it tells me it will be good to be home. And it’s not wrong.

Also, download the app, then you can program the nav, unlock the car, defrost (hybrid only I suspect).

As a device for trundling up and down motorways, it’s pretty epic.

Me too, ALFA Sprint Veloce. Unfortunately my navigator wasn't very good. En route Peloponnese from Athens, ended up on the Athens Rally route taking us over entirely inappropriate tracks over the mountains. Then known as the most dangerous Rally section known. The sight of a steam crane hawling up a couple of cars from the precipitous valley moderated driving even more than the boulder strewn route.
She needed new shockers all round on return to Britain. As did the navigator.
She, the ALFA, was only 6 months old.
Can still recall the dismay approaching Athens after a 3000 mile drive. Felt like I'd driven into a bombsite.
