For those who haven't watched it a great Quali session today who knew them Bl**dy Yanks could make a track fast and slippy that keeps the best drivers in the world on their toes. Although I do think they have gone a bit OTT with the light show ;)

So Lando needs to finish 3 points ahead of Max to stop him winning the championship at this race. Clearly he is going to win eventually but would be good to keep it going until the last race.

Dont know about that, now they’ve got a new race director they’ll be able to do an Abu Dhabi 2021 only it’ll be Max on the losing side this time ;)

So my Dan didn’t do a prediction and held onto 5th, my prediction was awful but I still held 7th and Alex my youngest hasn’t done a prediction for about 7 races and is still 14th and not last. How does that happen ?

A little chauvinism of course.
Had those negative feelings about Shumacher in his days, but understood the Germans adored him of course.

Well I’m pretty happy with the result, another impressive season by Max, not many will dispute that. I enjoyed his burn of Zak Brown live on SkyF1, typical Max. On the Fantasy league surprisingly I didn’t do too bad but moving up in the ranks is a challenge once you have picked a team that isn’t working that well. Predictions are nearly impossible to get right with so many teams and drivers in the running.

Not a fan of Max as you know but after a ropey second half to the season he still got the job done. Brazil was the one that showed his true talent and today he cemented his name up there with the greats. Well done Max (through gritted teeth) ;). You could see his game plan today was not about winning but securing the championship which he did. Lewis from 10th to 2nd was my driver if the day though. One thing Red Bill have not done well is the manufacturers championship and that lays clearly on Perez. I am so surprised he is still in their plans for next year.

Not sure I'd bank on that, if I were Perez. Agreed that Brazil was an amazing drive, and Max's consistency has been rewarded. But other than Lewis, the rest of that thing was a snoozefest, literally, as we went to bed about 3a.

I spoke with RB team ... lots of "dump" clauses in Perez's contract. It is not set in stone. Watch this space. One thing keeping him there is a sponsor (from Mexico) that insists the money is tied with his seat.
