Yes I changed my team as I didn’t know the scoring when I created my Bahrain team. Max “losing“ pole and being so far back must have put a lot of predictions out as the top score was only 215 vs 265 for the last race. That pesky FIA cost me a good few points with Alonso off the podium. 10 seconds for touching a car is just disproportionate if you already had a 5 second penalty. They did well to keep it to one SC yesterday I guess, though it should have been a virtual. The excuse that “their GPS showed the car on the track” whilst it was clearly not in a full SC place is just pathetic - don’t they watch the feed?? The FIA and Ferrari just keep on getting it wrong unnecessarily…

A bit of movement in our league, did Alex forget to input his weekly predictions or did he have a mare?

One again the FIA don't seem to understand their own rules. Not the best race but it still shows those Reb Bulls are in a different league to everyone else.
Fkwits! MotoGP doesn't have this issue. Penalties are almost instantaneous, which is crucial in a 40 minutes race. Incident occurs, stewards review and apply a penalty straight away. With no radio comms, a text messager comes up on the dash of the bike and the rider has to pay the penalty within 3 laps. Typical penalties are a 'long lap' which adds around 2 seconds to a lap. With no DRS and only slipstreaming available that easily breaks any tow and the offender have to work harder to recover. Ergo a proper punishment. Take head (again) FIA.

As noted previously, only change I made was to swap Aston in and AlphaCentauri out and plan to stand pat there with no other changes. Got #2 and #3 right, but had Leclerc winning, which was obviously Wrong. Didn't watch a minute of either of the first two races, nor of qualifying for either...so it's all just been groping in the dark and wishful thinking on my end.

I think the only reason you would switch teams is if a team massively changed between testing and the first race. Aston seem to be hitting the improved standard they did in pre-season testing and unfortunately so are McLaren in a less positive way. Ferrari seem to be the team that have not emulated pre-season testing as yet.

The Red Bulls are in a different league but are very expensive, I would assume all of us have some Red Bull in our teams and / or predictions even though it grinds some of us.

Interestingly from the next race the values of drivers and teams my change due to their performance which could mean you could trade parts of your tam against better value alternatives but remember the first 6 changes from now on are free but after that they cost 10 pts a change so tactics might come into play.

Also remember Australia is an early morning race so make sure you get your changes and predictions in before Quali for them to count
