18km in around 1hr30mins in the freezing cold... Basically traded mud for ice, it was bitter though. I had full thermals on including gloves but my lid is more suited to summer so my head got really cold, might wear my ski helmet tomorrow instead

No idea how people go for daily runs in the snow.

Much warmer running than cycling, I can run in shorts at 0c. Less than 15c on a bike and it’s like sticking my bits in the freezer.

I’ve managed 100 miles in a week in 3 rides and now up to just under 650 miles this year. Will try and keep this up as it means I’m burning far more calories than I’m eating and my belly is shrinking in the process.
So all good. My legs ache like a mofo walking down the stairs though!

Well done! Just over 70 'miles' this month. It's going OK

You're a dark horse so it turns you on ;)

Due to the mileage I'm doing on the bike at the moment on Zwift, I've decided to treat myself to a Wahoo Kickr Bike.
All signing and all dancing, and is apparently as close to riding outside as you can get indoors.

Not cheap, but hopefully worth it. The reviews are excellent though.

You're not kidding not cheap..

Too much food on Saturday means a 0.6lb increase this week bit on positive exercise plan is being maintained despite the freezing weather. Hoping to get back on track weight wise this week

At least you won't hold the traffic up.
We get loads of Tour de France wannabes around here ;)

I've a standard on a turbo in the garage at the moment, and as I'm a fair weather cyclist I won't be holding anyone up until the weather improves!

I've had two days off the bike at the weekend, and am actually missing it!

Back on this afternoon for a few miles. Hopefully work won't get in the way!

I have the same. Seem ok, but you need to get them on a very level floor (no easy task in my very non-level house).

Which of the many readings were cobblers?

Yes, they are quite small so any un-eveness seems to be amplified. Mostly the weight, but of course that screws all the other ones up. I just have to put them on the landing it it's fine

Very nice Mark....

So far I’ve done 1,147miles this year in Zwift, and am also really enjoying it. See you in Watopia!

I hate turbo trainers and never use mine, but do enjoy the Wattbike (or will, once the gym re-opens). But that said, that Wahoo bike looks epic. Enjoy.

Ive just finished setting it up. It adjusts in about a billion ways. As I had a bike fit last year I set it up exactly like my road bike.

And it rides brilliantly. It’s actually like being out on the road.
