How about a crack at the Jesse Lingard 40 minute workout shown the BBC website?

Apparently, if you are very thin and paid six figures a week to stay that way, this work out is easy. Otherwise, I imagine it’ll be a struggle...

April’s challenge was 5000 press-ups in a month which my 4 boys and I all achieved. Now my son has built a pull up bar in the garage so I attempted it today for the first time and achieved a grand total of ........1 Doh!

I’ve had a minor wobble this weekend and have had three days of drinking... to be honest I don’t think I believe the scales as it would appear that drinking lots of wine and whiskey builds muscle... if only that were true!

1st April - Weight 93.4kg; Lean mass 66.4kg; fat 27.0kg
8th April - Weight 92.3kg; Lean mass 66.6kg; fat 25.7kg
15th April - Weight 91.9kg; Lean mass 66.4kg, fat 25.5kg
21st April - weight 91.0kg; Lean mass 65.9kg; fat 25.1kg
28th April - Weight 90.6kg; Lean mass 66.1kg; fat 24.5kg
3rd May - Weight 90.8kg; Lean mass 66.6kg; fa6 24.15kg

If it were, I'd be looking like Arnie!

Today is my 5 week weigh in, and I’ve gained weight, lost muscle, and put on fat... All of this is entirely my own fault as I had three days back drinking and eating too much cake, but it’s still bloody annoying.

Week 0 (1st April) - Weight 93.4kg; Lean mass 66.4kg; fat 27.0kg
Week 4 (28th April) - Weight 90.6kg; Lean mass 66.1kg; fat 24.5kg
Week 5 (5th May) - Weight 91.2kg; Lean mass 66.0kg; fat 25.2kg

It is but round again. You're still improved on where you where when you started which is a good thing!

Taken eye of the game the last few weeks, weighed this morning and put on 3lb from my last update - need to get back into the routine especially with the calorie intake reduction

I’ve put on a bit recently. But still a stone lighter than Jan 1st, so I’m still pleased. Looking forward to the gym reopening, as miss lifting weights, battle rope sessions, etc. I’m bored of cycling and press ups.

A stone down in just over 4 months is bloody good. Well done.

I'm missing teaching and being in town, and I'm drinking more so pretty stuck.

Well done! Static for me this week. Can't see the next one being much better. Would be nice to lose the last 5-6lbs but right now it's not a huge priority

That’s excellent. Well done for getting back on the regime. I bet you’re feeling better for it.

{imagine a deep Geordie accent }

... it’s the end of Week 6 in the JonW house

Week 0 (1st April) - Weight 93.4kg; Lean mass 66.4kg; fat 27.0kg
Week 4 (28th April) - Weight 90.6kg; Lean mass 66.1kg; fat 24.5kg
Week 5 (5th May) - Weight 91.2kg; Lean mass 66.0kg; fat 25.2kg
Week 6 (12th May) - Weight 90.0kg, Lean mass 65.6kg, fat 24.4kg

I suspect the latest Government updates on Covid mean I’m going to be working from home until at least the end of June now, which is good as it gives me an extra 4 weeks to hit my initial target of 85kg...

I’m a big fan of Micky Flanagan - he’s properly, belly laughing, hilarious at times...

This thread is getting very few updates, but I’m going to keep using it as it helps me stay focussed.

I weighed myself this morning, and seems I’ve had a decent week this week...

Week 0 (1st April) - Weight 93.4kg; Lean mass 66.4kg; fat 27.0kg
Week 4 (28th April) - Weight 90.6kg; Lean mass 66.1kg; fat 24.5kg
Week 5 (5th May) - Weight 91.2kg; Lean mass 66.0kg; fat 25.2kg
Week 6 (12th May) - Weight 90.0kg, Lean mass 65.6kg, fat 24.4kg
Week 6 and a bit - Weight 89.4kg, Lean mass 66.1kg , fat 23.3kg

Today’s activity is going to be a 40mile bike ride followed by probably a game of badminton in the garden, maybe filling in some holes under the fence to stop the cat escaping, and if I’m lucky a nap....
