I seem to be stuck at 12lb loss since new year, but only tweaked the diet. I suspect some extra effort may be required to lose the last few lbs.

Yeah Al, need to keep changing exercise and hold a decent diet.
Do you use gym offshore?
I always found the food an issue, too good and too much, I’ve not been o/s in Denmark yet but they reckon food is restaraunt good

Don't use the gym, 8-10 mile of stairs a day they recon so that should suffice. Food is an issue as you say.

Cheers Crud; I'm hovering at the moment as opposed to hoovering (Shaun style), I need to get back on the fast track diet again in the next few weeks if I'm going to be beach ready ever! the challenge is looming ever more quickly. The good news is I am holding it (weight) off and the portion control is getting ingrained!

I am still steady at around 13st 4lb
I need to try harder to get down below 13 st
Beginning to think I cannot do it aymore

Don’t rush, lose the weight through eating first trust me you legs and lungs will thank you all the more for it. Get Joe wicks lean in 15 book and cook from that plus use the HIIT exercises to burn the fat and take test days.

This weekend has given me the kick up the **** I needed, been to the IOM TT , a mates wife dropped out so he asked knowing I'd always wanted to go

But camping , what I didn't realise until he started setting it out was was it'd be in an action man tent , me being the age I am and beer meant I knew there was no chance I would get through the night without a pee

It was like watching a walrus get off the beach trying to extract myself through the porthole

Luckily he could sleep through a WW2 air raid so no witnesses but time something needs to be done

Reviving this thread:

Well since May, the eye has been off the diet ball, unsurprisingly weight has bounced again, I shocked myself last week by getting on the scales for the first time in months and it started with a 20 again!!!! A week of watching input again has seen it back under and starting with a 19 again but not by a lot. So I need to get going with the diet in earnest again.

How is everyone else fairing???

I've not updated this recently, but after initial loss, still slowly creaping in the right direction. I have lost the stone plus, and am under 11st for the first time in a few years.

Good revival.... I have done the classic bounce, and regained a lot of what I lost....

Am considering having a dry September to try and kickstart a weight loss drive through to December....

I had a bit of trial and error. I now know when I work away, what I can or not eat, so cut down on snacks and chips! I can lose around 3 - 4ib, a trip. I now know what I can do to remain constant when home, virtually no change in habits there :). The change in habit at work I will keep an eye on. Keep it up people. It will be interesting to see the results after the year's up.

I have managed to stay about the same. Which is ok but I still should lose a few pounds. I am finding it very difficult.
I do not over eat, I am active, I do have a snack between meals but not often.
I am at the top of the NHS BMI green band.
My BP and pulse is good so I am thinking just change my goal to stay the same

Had to hire a PT. Weight dropping slowly (about 5 lbds down in the last 2 months) but muscle mass up and clear difference in strength, flexibility and shape. Not bragging at all, as I still can't get in some of my clothes (which I need for Cancun) but in the long haul now <reaches for a glass of red>....
