I'm a day late this week because my body bloated massively over the weekend. Seriously, I ended up about 6lbs heavier due to fluid retention!

So, no it's settled...

Sunday morning stats...
2nd January:
Age: 36
Height: 6'4"
Belly flopped: 51"
Waist: 44"
Weight: 19st 8lbs

17th February
Age: 36
Height: 6'4"
Belly flopped: 46.5"
Waist: just under 43"
Weight: 18st 11lbs

25th February:
Age: 37 - up one
Height: 6'4" - no change
Belly flopped: 45" - that'll be another inch gone! 6 and counting.
Waist: 42 1/2 - another half inch.
Weight: 18st 9lbs - no change, but the measurements suggest progress and I did have my birthday that meant 3 days of indulgence. I can't complain there!

My clothes, particularly T-shirts, are starting to look rather over-sized now.

I’m holding off the new clothes for a bit but enjoying not having my gut showing out from under 2xl t-shirts!!!

Me too with the holding off, and with the less gut showing. Actually, the thing I like most is that my arms are more comfortable when I'm sat up with my elbows by my sides. They're clearly in a more natural position not being pushed out by the gut.

Feeling pretty chuffed this morning when I realise that I went for a jog last night and did over 2 1/2 miles and that included a bit of hill for the first time. It was also lovely being out in shorts and T-shirt and watching the sun set from the mini forest on top of the hill by my village... living up to the name "Forest Hill".

Well done! Hovering around 14st for me, due to some social engagements but to be honest, that's about right. At most I'd look to lose another 4 or 5 lbs so keeping track

Well done Steve..

Annoyingly there was zero weight loss for me this week, and hardly any the week before... I suspect I may have reached the point where I need to consciously watch what I’m eating rather than just relying on not drinking alcohol and having increased my activity level.

I’m really hoping that in a couple of weeks I can get back to using weights and my rowing machine and that my stupid shoulder will hold up ok. It’s getting a bit dull only being able to ride my bike...
