This morning I started my new fitness classes. 6.30am circuit training today, and some kind of muscle pump thing tomorrow.

First proper exercise in 6 months, and it went quite well considering that last week I was full of cold and still have the lingering cough.
Healthy breakfast of scrambled eggs to follow, set me up for the day. And now I find myself in my office at a time when I'm normally still wrapped in a duvet!

My trainer is Ireland's first female professional boxer, so she can dish out a good smack to the head if required!

Last night I managed my longest jog... possibly ever! I just needed to get out in the fresh air after hours and hours of trains from Maastricht. I did just over 4 miles through the fields in dark. It was lovely! It also means I now know I can do 5k so can join some friends for a run (jog).

This has now caused me a bit of challenge, corporate results day today so no casual dress - Jacket required. Dragged my normal jackets out of wardrobe to find they are all to big, a bit of rummaging found an older one that has not fitted for a few years and guess what perfect.

Maybe I need to eat & drink more?

Only one thing I'm annoyed is now too big and that's the really nice 3 piece suit I bought back in October... just in time for a wedding where I then became best man and was given a hire suit, so I've not got to wear it for anything!

I bought a full Moss Bros Tuxedo to go to the SM Goodwood Revival and din't get to wear it, haven't yet and I suspect it will be way too big soon!

Both of you: Go find a decent local tailor. Get them altered. If you don't have one locally come to Harlow. There's a Persian bloke around the corner who I swear must have some kind of deal with the devil. Not cheap cheap but better than throwing away and probably end up fitting better than it did when you bought it.

Yes, thanks for the suggestion and it's what I was thinking of doing anyway. It was supposed to be a treat anyway so it can be deferred to making it for better.

Not weighed in for a couple of weeks, and away with work. Will check mid April, but the belt is in an extra notch, been a while since there, so still heading in the correct direction.

Kettle bells this morning! Legs were still a bit achey from yesterday's cross training session, now they're more achey.
I'm sure that'll pass in a couple of weeks. Tomorrow's 6.30am session is punching the cr4p out of a punchbag for half an hour.

Apparently my mood is noticeably better already.... however, I still think that the person that told me that is a pr1ck.
