So far today I’ve done a decent walk with the dogs, and this afternoon I’m stocking our new wine cabinet, which means moving maybe 200 bottles from the cupboard under the stairs to the cupboard. There will then be some proper exercise, which I think may be a Skierg intervals/circuits session...

Italian restaurant tonight for Tea and then Pink Floyd at Sunderland Empire (err tribute) plus beer!
Diet is about to be hit again

Yesterday I walked over 12 miles as i decided to commute on foot. Today I've done very little but I think 70 mins on the cross trainer was good. Felt hard today but then I decided to add mini sprints every 5 mins.

Setup a little better now.....not as I want it completely yet but better. Dinner...brief rest then a long cycle watching football or a film

That's the ticket! Exercise is pretty dull so you need something to do. I have a large monitor in front of the rowing machine. A screen, I mean, not a lizard. Anyway, it's easy to find something on YouTube, Netflix, Amazon or catch-up to help the time and miles fly by.

Agreed. Found that out after watching scenery on Tacx! Got my headphones at the ready and a long extension for them. Certainly going to help to allow me to ride for longer. Got cycling shorts now as well which will also help!

Wow that was different and much better. First sessions over last week or so were about 6km and 20 mins.

Just rode through a whole movie for 1hr 22mins and just over 25km. That was much better watching a movie with headphones on and a big screen.

Way forward found. Now shower, sit down and a wee dram I think

Well done - I’ve just finished a 90 minute, easy spin whilst watching the Liverpool match on Sky, and then 1/2 of MOTD. 10 laps of the Volcano...

I am so determined to win my little side-bet with Matt that I spent all of yesterday sweating off pounds in my bed, fully dressed, thickest duvet and a blanket, but still felt freezing. I also managed to pick up a bug so that anything I eat or drink flows straight through me and comes pouring out either my mouth or **** within about 30 minutes....

Woohoo - sub 85 kg here I come!
