Maybe one year the SportsMaserati testosterone-fuelled trip should be to Finland.

Or follow in Harry Metcalfe's footsteps when he took his old Roller to the Arctic. Or his 512 to the Sahara. That also looked like a superb trip. That said, I suspect the post-trip remedial work on the cars was not cheap.

First event done and what a stunning one it was. Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble, for sure one I will revisit next year. Better than Autoitalia and Fesitval Italia for me.

There are a number of Sunday Scrambles throughout the year, they are always good events

Thanks for the input all, I’ve watched a couple of YouTube clips and it’s not quite what I’d be interested in to be fair..

Nice green lawns and an Inn close by to supply evening ales & a room for the night is more preferable.

If you have not been before it's worth going just to see the sheer scale of it, depending on the weather the turn out can be huge, someone told me it was 6000 italian cars in 2017, not sure if that is true though :)

The museum is quite nice, had a revamp recently the new hangers are quite impressive.

has anyone mentioned the revival of the Scottish Italian Car Day?

on the 26th May at Hopetoun House..?

(am I in the right part of the forum to mention this?)

Note it is run by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club,as per Scottish Italian Car Day. It is not the same event that was held at Hopetoun House for a few years which was the Italian Car and Bike Show which used to attract some real exotica. Should still be good though, and nice to see it back.

Apparently there will be a Maserati Club Spring Meet & Lunch on 24 March 2019 at the Cotswold Classic Motor Hub near Bibury, Gloucestershire.
Don't forget your red trousers!

There seems to be a bit of love for the Bicester / C&M meet so I will propose the 11th of May and / or the 3rd of August - on the simple basis that they work best for me. I will make some calls tomorrow / tuesday to confirm he venues are happy.
I will be up for those too.

C&M is really nice popped over the other week for a look around but I have heard it gets very busy at their weekend events.
