... and I was also looking at trying to arrange a meet and drive to Caffine and Machine between Banbury and Stratford upon Avon in August.

Good shout. I like the look of that place, Zep. They have some cracking cars turn up so I'm sure they'll be extremely receptive to a forum visit.

It’s a really nice place and some good roads around it. Popped in to meet Hunta in October and spoke to the gaffer, he is up for hosting us.

Actually, thinking about it, perhaps meeting at Bicester Heritage (on a non show day) and then a drive up to C&M might be a nice day.
I do like that idea! Bicester Heritage would probably host us informally. Certainly worth asking. They may even let us see some interesting things!

Can I recommend the Tetbury Classic Car Show on August 25th?

A very simple and low-key event, but nice anyway. Would like to see a bunch of Western UK Maseratis there if possible.

Also Caffeine and Machine and the Bicester meet up.

There seems to be a bit of love for the Bicester / C&M meet so I will propose the 11th of May and / or the 3rd of August - on the simple basis that they work best for me. I will make some calls tomorrow / tuesday to confirm he venues are happy.

That's a Saturday and a Wednesday, Zep, is that what you had in mind?

First event done and what a stunning one it was. Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble, for sure one I will revisit next year. Better than Autoitalia and Fesitval Italia for me.

Whats the general consensus on Brooklands Auto Italia?

Really good? Good? Ok?..
I'd say reasonably good. That's mainly because it's easy to chill out with you lot and it's close enough for pizza at MLC's afterwards.

Really really dull now once you have done it multiple times. Same layout, just nah.

I'm going to make a concerted effort to do more classics and varied shows this year.

It's good the first couple of times. The attraction for me would be the social side (though I can't remember why I didn't make it the last year or two. Perhaps I'm antisocial. Oh, and my car is longer Italian so I'd have had to park in Woking or somewhere forever away).

Thanks for the input all, I’ve watched a couple of YouTube clips and it’s not quite what I’d be interested in to be fair..

Nice green lawns and an Inn close by to supply evening ales & a room for the night is more preferable.
