Guys, need your help please as can’t seem to find anything on this, 3L Diesel. Can see the pipe coming into the cooler is wet with fluid, not wet at pump, but can’t see how to get to pipe, let alone ID it and get replacement?
Do we need to take front bumper off and turbo cooler out to get to it or is there a simpler way?
Feels like the dealer will charge £50 for the pipe and £800 labour to fit!!
Car only done 18k so really disappointing, but having to fill reservoir every few days and underside getting covered in fluid!
Any schematics or help appreciated as we just can’t see a simple way to it!
Thanks

Thanks, looks like pipe 15 - question is how do you get to it?
Take out radiators/coolers from the top or front bumper off- turbo cooler out??
Many thanks!

Sadly not. It looks as though the petrol and diesel configurations are quite different:

With a leak of that nature it probably won't be the underside getting wet as fluid tends to get blown around and ends up where you don't want it. Pure conjecture, but could it just be a loose hose clamp, in which case you 'only' need access to the end of the pipe and not the whole assembly? Can you get an extending mirror in there to have a shufty?

Thanks Phil, my mechanic is certain it’s one of the joints on pipe15, it’s just how we get to it- is it bumper off or is there an easier way?
Many thanks, John
