Hey Peeps, hope you are all well?

So, this morning tried to leave for work in the Ghibli, everything worked as normal, lights came on when unlocking and seat and steering went into position. Pressed the start button and nothing, the engine management light was on, no stored messages! Any help would be appreciated before I call the RAC :)

Just so not ‘Ghibli’ like issue or am I mistaken? It’s only covered 28k so thought the battery might hold out for at least another year… or am I dreaming!!???

I think batteries are a bit of a lottery, some have much more luck than others, but for not more than the price of half a tank of fuel changing at the first signs of trouble is a no brainer (for me anyway).

This happened with my previous Ghibli. One day it didnt start. RAC came, started it. Said they couldnt find a drain. It was ok for the next 2.5 years until I sold it. Never did it again and I didnt replace the battery (was on 110k when I sold it)

Glad it’s sorted, I would just buy a new battery and keep it regularly conditioned, they hate going flat and in my experience are never the same again.
