Update on this because I cannot find the other thread.
I went to see the car today and it appears an honest 57k miles car. The nose needs full paint as there looks like something square has been stuck to it and pulled of the lacquer in a few places. Not sure if it was a quick repair job but needs a proper job. Drivers seat bolster very minor colour wear, bit of damage on the rear centre console, all the switches will need redoing as they are losing script, fog lamp switches missing from headlight switch so needs a replacement, passenger seat does not slide on lifting back (not sure if they do), new pirellis, big file of invoices, service due in 2 months, pads at 25%, had an inspection by Neil Murray tech who was at JCT. If you can do some of the interior yourself then that would keep costs down. Spent its life going up and down the motorway. It was spotted in 2015 in Maidenhead.

Such useful info Gazcw!! Thats why this is such a great forum. Im surprised the garage hasnt carried out the various needed repairs given how long the car has been on sale for. Looks like they are being stubborn on both the selling price and on spending a few quid to get it into a sellable state.

Its good to hear that it had a clutch at 48k miles which shows its been well driven if that's the first one its had. The GT clutches do seem to go to 50k miles.

We did one last year that was well into its 50's and was slipping but still working.

It would cost quite a bit stripping and sorting the switches and a bumper respray is a few hundred at trade too I imagine. The centre rear console/armrest is damaged on top so I guess that is a live with or replace at owners leisure. Too much for a dealer.
