Just booked ferry crossing from Portsmouth to Caen arriving on the Wednesday morning bright and early.

Then a couple of days chilling before the Classic at the weekend, brilliiant!

plus a bit of fishing too,............ eating,............... drinking,..........chilling,...............walking......................fishing..................eating.................drinking.........chilling, well you get the picture!

Guy, I was away with David this weekend just passed and we are ramping up our plans for Le Clasiques!

We are planning to go down by overnight ferry on the Wednesday evening should be in early on the Thursday, only 2hr drive to our digs. We might stay elsewhere on the Thursday to break it up a bit.

I am as ever like a big kid at this event!

Le Mans 24 was great and I would go again and again! But there was a little bit extra feeling seeing the cars and the rounds of racing at the track for the Classic, which I felt was excellent.I know that I am way off from the event and a bit of a garage bill inbetween to pay before rolling up but it is special and I cannot wait.

Plus, when going to Le Mans its the travelling with all the other nutters in their cars too, just a joy!

Didn't think I was booked in - (still not sure), but am now going on tour with the De Tomaso owners club for the week before and then staying with them north of LM.

I will be stretching the legs of the old Alfa this year!

Unlikely. Have been touring with the guys for 12 years now, they do some good trips and I have some good friends, much like here

I occasionally ponder one but then realise the roof doesn't come off (some rare cars have a targa but they're US$125k+) and I'd rather have an E-Type Roadster for classic thrills. Insane Pantera acceleration with no ability to get round a corner or brake never seems that fun...

Ferry booked already too,

Just need to chat to Loz on deposits for the house,

Plus, already purchased a decal fo rthe event - ahh stickers, decals, go faster stripes, you name it, its time to pose!
