Loz, if you fancy something new that is doable (cat D) there's a 2010 California on Copart sitting at £42k!

Well great to see everyone had a good time...and boy what a car park!
Lets hope I can get my replacement sports car soon and not have to cry off so many trips next year.

Thanks for your hospitality Loz, and good to put some faces to names, even if almost everyone did appear to be called Dave.

Jack and I buggered off a bit early, but it was only a short deviation on our route to blasty over to Tetre Rouge and drive the circuit from there all the way around to the Porsche Curves. At 1am the roads were empty of punters for the Gendarmarie to escort to the local cashpoint (or jail should the offence be excessive). If I said we hit 140 in places I would not be lying, and not Euro km's! I've never done that in a car with a loud growling V8 before, the visual, the sound, and the location just made it a 10/10.

Must go, really to have to have the P4 running by 2014. Rather a lot still to do.

Cheers to all of you for making my first Le Mans trip a great one! Excellent company, both human and vehicular.
Thouroughly enjoyed blasting along the quiet (until we got there) country lanes, and let's hope that pesky speed camera didn't have any film in it.

In other news...
Thanks Loz, Miles & Paul for holding my hair back on Sunday evening ;)
It seems that for no apparent reason I got Vertigo, the Dr on speed dial known as my sister says it could have happened at any time, which is a little concerning given the speed at which it came on. Bren drove me to his Dad's place in the middle of France yesterday and I'm just about to head off under my own steam this morning now that I feel about 98% better.
Not a pleasant experience, but a mere hick-up in comparison to the rest of the trip.

Here's to next year!

Glad to hear you are feeling better Dan and hope you have a fantastic time down in the south of France. Thanks for the hospitality at La Butte, the BBQ was an outstanding success and the company even better! Look forward to catching up with everyone again soon.

I bottled out of driving in the end as I fell over again picking up my bag to load into the car. So Bren not only gets to chauffer me down there but also gets a couple of unplanned days in the sun. His Mrs isn't too impressed but I think he's secretly quite pleased... Let's put it this way, it didn't take much to talk him into it :D

Only 3 more hours to go and we'll be on the beach...

Well guys and girls, I can only have I have the 'Le Mans' hangover, not from booze, no, but from being on a high for the past 6 days. OK, there is nothing like seeing your loved ones, but I am already looking forward to the next one, 11 months and counting!

Rosie (Dave) and I are thinking about taking La Butte for a week with the family, Loz, whats the discount code?

Thanks to all the La Butte members for their efforts and hospitality especially the 'girls' for all their hard work. I did do some washing up but kept getting shuuusshed away!

And as for the car park, well, impressive:
