Hi All,

In need of some help again please?

My car failed its MOT in December for a broken nearside from coil Spring, part #900027817

My car has the skyhook suspension.

I wasn’t in any hurry as I was away in the far east for all of January and left it on back order with Eurospares, upon my return, I checked and Eurospares said it had been on back order with Eisbach since September 2025.

So I thought I would try and get a faster response from GrayPaul Brum, and chased them again to advise that Maserati say the part is no longer available, I asked if he could provide the specs and he said Maserati can’t help with that.

Some am a bit lost, can anyone advise where I can get a replacement or provide the specs so that I can do some research?

Thanks but the car isn’t driveable and I don’t have the skills or tools to remove.

I use Sam at Stradale Italia in Uttoxeter, so if no alternatives then might have to do that.

Could you get a ‘mobile mechanic’ to come and remove, put on an axel stand.

I live out in the sticks and from my chat with Sam at Strada Italia he says that the disassembly is always an issue with seized bolts etc., so that worries me with a yokel working on it.

Trailer the car to Matt @ Sportsmaserati. He’ll sort you out.

Yeah MOT failure, so I can drive it for remedial work or to an MOT station and Sam is only 18 miles away, but he doesn’t want the car just sitting there as he doesn’t have a lot of room.
 
Bit of a mega long shot but you could see if superperformance have stock. See picture.

They have the part number listed

OK that makes it harder. Did you post this on FB? I think Rob Wilson messaged you. Pretty sure they are the same as the GT and he has some

No, only posted it on here.

When I called GrayPaul today I said to them is it the same as the GT and they said no, which I questioned as I said that I thought they ran on identical running gear.

Well superformance came back back with no stock.

Faulkners came back with the following: -

Thank you for your enquiry , The only way we can help you is for to have a local garage remove the none broken spring and send to us

we can manufacture bespoke springs based on a sample supplied

We would need to handle a spring to check spec and also for you to confirm how springs fit and what’s most critical inner diameters or out diameters

I would suggest to take images of the springs on the car and off with your mobile phone and email us some images before sending a spring ideally not damaged

the complete spring etc



Once we have received your spring we can install your spring on our test rig and with test results we can design and supply new springs

and in your case to duplicate

That the problem that whoever removes the shocks will need to hold the car for 5-6 weeks, it would really help if someone had an old one that I could send to Faulkners?
