So my plan to fit valved boxes has backfired. Despite Razz having done this on his QP, the boxes I picked up just will not fit. They are from a 2010 4.7 Auto GT see part no's in the pics.
Anyone interested? I was going to put them on fleabay for £450.

The valves work fine and the only issue is the welded clamps have broken off taking some of the pipe with it. With a Myklor clamp they will be fine. Picture of damage included.

Pm me if you want to know more.

Unfortunately I have no idea if they would fit or not. Hopefully someone else can advise us.
I think @CatmanV2 has fitted GTS boxes to his 4.2. Not sure if they are the same part number as yours though. I'd want to be able to hook up valve controls using a suitable kit like the Larini/Formula Dynamics one, I think.

Thanks C. The part number 255951 is shown in the photos. This is the RH rear silencer for a Maserati GranTurismo 4.7 auto, according to Eurospares. The LH equivalent is 255952.

Is this the valve control kit that you used?

Thanks to Razz providing the info, all you need is a vacuum solenoid, if you want a Maserati one, eurospares sell used for £17.00 or find any one at a scrappy. 8m of 3mm id silicone hose, 2 tee pieces and some spring clips. You can buy a universal no/nc remote kit of ebay or Amazon for peanuts or install a switch/latching button and hardware it to the solenoid. FD kit is a lot of money for very little unless it does something clever I don't know about.

That'll fit then. When I looked at making my own kit, the trouble and cost would have come very close to the FD price, but that's not the simple kit. It does rather a lot more (that you don't know about! ;) )
Most specifically this:
. 'Valve Auto' Kit > Allows Valves to Open And Shut At A Predetermined RPM Load Via Throttle Input

I can never find a link to the other one :( but the invoice I have got indicates that I got CK pads (at $260) plus the control kit plus the shipping for $450. So less than $200

DIY still cheaper but...

I wanted open or closed. More open obviously rather than progressive. You can pick up the remote kit for £7, life expectancy may not be long but use would be very limited tbh. I was at £40 when I costed up bits including hoses and solenoid etc.
