Hi Gents,
After a LOT of research I've finally purchased, but yet to pick up, a 2009 GT S Auto (with 4 tip exhaust) but I have to say I came very close to holding off for an MC-Shift just for the sound. I'll be honest, I feel in love with this car but in love with the sound of another and now somehow need to combine the two!
I've read a number of posts on this site and others and I have to say I'm still a little confused when it comes to the exhaust valves. I know on the later autos (with the MC Shift style oval exhaust) you can control the valves using the sports button. I understand this isn't the case with the 2009 auto however I was under the impression the values would open above 3500 revs. What's really confused me though is that the dealer has said there aren't any valves on this model. Is he right or does he just mean there's no valve control system?
I guess what I'm really trying to find out is whether the remote valve control kits will work with this car or whether I need a whole new exhaust.
Thanks in advance!
Pete
