Hi All - after several years of enjoying my Maserati Gransport, I would like to offer it for sale. It is currently not advertised anywhere. I am about to put up some detailed information about it now along with links to pictures.

Here is my 2007 Maserati Gransport (on a 56 plate) for sale which I have owned for 4 years. It was originally supplied by Maranello in Egham and has had 3 previous owners. The first owner I believe was Maranello. So, 2 private owners before me. I have tried to give as much detail as possible about the car here.

This particular model of Maserati was recommended to me by Aldous at AV Engineering (who are well known Ferrari/Maserati specialists) who has maintained my previous and current F-cars. When this car came up for sale, he went and did a full inspection on the car prior to purchase. It was a fantastic specification car with the “Mediterraneo Blu” exterior and grey leather interior.

The rare option on this car is the full leather interior including a full leather headlining and dash. A lot of these have a “tech cloth” dash rather than leather. Apart from some cosmetic work (scuffs on wheels, seat leather wear), and some overdue servicing (due to lack of use) AV Engineering recommended it to be a good purchase as the drivetrain on the car was healthy and it had no underbody corrosion or any issues with the suspension arms (common expensive problems)

I purchased the car in April 2017. This is the history the car had before I purchased it:

24/05/2007, 2,467 miles, Maranello Egham, 6k mile service

09/05/2008, 4,491 miles, Maranello Egham, Annual service

29/05/2009, 11,849 miles, Maranello Egham, 6K mile service, Coolant changed, PAS fluid replaced, AC service

02/06/2010, 18,566 miles, Maranello Egham, 18,500 mile service, renew aux belt, new remote batteries

27/05/2011, 24,143 miles, Emblem Sportscars, 2nd annual service, gearbox oil changed, PAS fluid, brake fluid, new radiator, AC service, Coolant changed

28/05/2012, 30,600 miles, Emblem Sportscars, 31k mile service, gearbox/diff oil, aux belt, new receiver drier, new AC compressor, NEW CLUTCH, spark plugs,

29/05/2013, 35,320 miles, Emblem Sportscars, 2nd annual service, gearbox oil changed, carbon canister, coolant, RH camshaft variator, RH cam cover gasket

30/05/2014, 39,718 miles, Emblem Sportscars, Annual service, brake fluid, new handbrake shoes, new RH cam chain tensioner

16/06/2015, 44,450 miles, Emblem Sportscars, 43.5K mile service, Coolant, PAS fluid, gearbox / diff oil, AC service, fob batteries, new LH window regulator,

10/01/2017, 48,428 miles, Shiltech , Recondition PAS pump

Shortly after purchase I had the car fully serviced and below is the history in my ownership.

30/06/2017, 48,729 miles, Scuderia Scaglietti (in Chiswick where Aldous was based for a short while), Full service with all filters changed, new spark plugs, new coolant, new brake fluid, new gearbox oil, new PAS fluid, aircon service, new tyres and wheel alignment, replace fuel carbon canister, brake service (removal and cleaning of discs / pads), new Bosch battery installed.
All wheels sent off for full refurb and all the seat leather cleaned and re-conditioned
Rear speakers have been upgraded to Pioneer speakers. The paper cone diaphragm commonly fails on them.

15/2/2019, 51,113 miles, AV Engineering, Annual service, Brake fluid change, replace both cam cover gaskets. Repaint R.H. Cam cover. Fit Hill Engineering Split Nut (part H01-02211) to the main oil pipe as preventative maintenance to avoid its splitting. This is a common problem and is an expensive repair otherwise.

18/7/2020, 52,447 miles AV Engineering, Annual service, Gearbox oil change, renew PAS fluid, renew thermostat and coolant temperature sensor, renew clamps for exhaust silencers, renew brake fluid. I have all the full SD2 diagnostic printouts showing nothing abnormal. The clutch wear currently is 43%. It had a new clutch at 30K miles by the previous owner.

Current mileage is 54,278.

Documents available:

  • V5 in my name
  • Service book, owner’s manual pack and documentation pack
  • Extensive History file with paperwork for all of the above work including invoices, etc.
  • 2 sets of keys
  • Original tool kit, tyre inflator, etc.
  • Car has the OEM Becker unit (Bluetooth enabled) and I have all the code cards for it.

In summary, this is an honest car that is not a garage queen and has been in light regular use for leisure trips in good weather. It is in fantastic mechanical condition with none of the usual problems of underside corrosion, split suspension arms, etc. etc. that afflict this model. Car has been treated with Dinitrol rust proofing products underneath. I have “uncleaned” underbody shots in the supplied link. The heat shields are in great condition. There is no corrosion on the subframe and structural components. I have included shots to display the underneath of the engine to show the absence of any oil leaks especially under the camcovers.

This is an excellent example which needs nothing doing and has been a pleasure to own. Current mileage is 54,278 miles and may creep up slightly as car is in use. Has only done 1800 miles since last service. You are welcome to contact AV Engineering for any questions on health / condition of the car. This a very well cared for modern classic. It took me a long time to find one in this spec and condition.

No pressing reason for sale other than the fact that I am looking for a change after 4 years and would like some sort of a performance 4 seat convertible which actually has 2 usable rear seats as the kids are somehow getting taller too quickly. Can’t decide yet on which car yet.....

I am looking for 23K or thereabouts and am willing to entertain sensible offers. Please message me with your contact number if you need to discuss anything.

Hi All - thanks for your positive comments. I am going to list on Autotrader in the next day or so. I haven't had any serious enquiries over the last few days.
