Even if the car was advertised for £16k people would still want to haggle. It makes people feel better about having just bagged a bargain.
I’d put it up by a couple of Ks and give a discount after playing hard to get :)

Yep seems that way and rightly so.
I'm still convinced the GS will in future be regarded as being more than the equal of GTS and future prices will reflect this. Personally, it would never enter my head to sell this GS at this price unless I had another great option up my sleeve and had to cash in quickly.

Too many GTS for low 30s affecting perceived values of GS...

I agree this must be supressing values. I suspect GS owners who keep an eye on the market will have thought about moving over to a GTS at some point. Those new to the brand coming from say a 911 certainly have a decision to make.

That may be the case for some but I went GS/GTS and back to GS. Wouldn't go GTS again. Totally different car in my opinion.

I really like this color on a GS - I would say eurotrip, you will love it.... either way best of luck

. When you see GS MCV at 60k you have to question are they worth 35k more than this car with low miles.

The market place has spoken and it certainly appears to be the case that a great MC-V is worth somewhere in the region of £30k more than an equivalent standard GS. Maybe the gap will widen further over time, or maybe it will diminish - who knows?!

Either way, for anyone currently looking for a normal GS, the car in this thread has to be at the top of the list for v.f.m.

Well done on another quick sale Ewan (and Richard). You clearly priced your GTS to sell but made the right call on your MCV as well.

Like many of us, I tend to follow what Richard is selling and it is apparent that the best GS examples sell pretty quickly. Those two LEs with low miles in the best colour combos both sold quickly for big money. Simply nice examples appear to take longer but have gone up a couple of k since last year. The Luna one in this thread is going to be a lovely buy for someone liking this rare colour combo and I believe Richard and Dave priced it to reflect the number of previous owners.

Now no longer for sale. Thanks for your interest.
Excellent, would you mind sharing your route and hotel details etc as this is something I fancy next year.
