With great sadness I will have to suspend my Maserati ownership - what was originally going to be a 6 month itch scratching exercise has turned into 2 years of happy motoring!

Some will recognise this car!

I am the 4th owner, driven the car 16,000 miles and have had it since October 2017

2006 QP Sport GT 4.2 with the exception of one service, full main dealer and maserati specalist history
86,000 miles
1 year/8000miles till next service due a service now
Clutch wear at 66% as of its last service in April 2019 (anecdotally clutch was replaced around 2013)
New Battery 2017

This car has been my daily driver Oct 2017 - 2019 then SORNED and stored for the past 2 years, its not perfect, with some stone chips and wear and tear, but nothing horrific! Its a genuine car thats been happy to run me to the shops or take the family 500miles to cornwall.

the colour may not be your first choice on paper, but when you see it in the flesh, in the sunshine you will see that its something special! its different, it makes a statement, but is still restrained and classy, give it a chance and you wont want a black or silver car ever again!

Its a Duo Select so has its moments, the occasional miss-shift or taking its time to find a suitable gear when bumbling about town, but drive it - and drive it in manual you will be rewarded with a noise, urgency and gearshift that will make you pleased that you dont have the slushbox version!
This is the Sport GT so has the faster gearbox map and factory fitted X-pipe and sounds fantastic!
with the exception of the parking sensors - which work when they feel like it, but will show an error 90% of the time. pretty much everything works! the buttons arent sticky and its a very pleasant place to be.

The car is based in east Essex, any inspection or test is welcome.

I will be putting it up on autotrader soon, but thought I would offer it on here first for a little less than I will end up advertising it for!
Im rather fond of the plate, but happy to let it go with the car if the price is close to what I would like!

It was before Matt purchased it...(and i was very gentle with her)The QP is such a brilliant car...Has two characters.....I can be hustle and do the Limo piece. They always amaze me how well they handle for such a big car.

My wife was only 'mildly' annoyed for a 'short while' when I turned up unexpectedly in the car!!!



It would be nice for the car to go to another forum member - keep it in the family and all that!
