Soooo, I'm out with my car for the weekend. I park at the hotel parking and try to lock with the remote. The lights flash but don't get the typical door locking "clunk". I try to open the door with the manual button opens wide and the alarm goes off....

All of a sudden i realised that a nunber of things are not working inc electric windows, seat adjustment controls steering column, in addition to not being able to lock remotely.

The car starts and drives fine but not has thr dreadful message "electric failure go to dealer"...

It was supposed to be a carefree weekend away. ;-((

Disconnect the battery overnight or just Give it a day or two and it may be ok...
Mine did something similar once last year when I first got it... scared me witless, but never done it since...
As a side note... lots of rain will cause my parking sensors to stop working, but a couple of days of sunshine and they are fine again!

Mine is doing the same. The car made for Mediterranean weather..
