A beautiful Maserati 4200 Cambiocorsa in excellent condition. Finished in striking Blu Nettuno paintwork with a full cream leather interior.

This iconic GT features the sought-after Cambiocorsa gearbox – automatic or manual with flappy paddle shift – and the clutch was replaced just 8,000 miles ago by the Supercar Clinic in Bolton.

Maybe so, but before you know it forum owners car for sale will be full of traders cars for sale, i don't believe it is actually your car, but one of the cars you are auctioning.
It will be down to the forum owner/ mods to decide.

Not sure if you are both baiting me or if you’re being genuine. It’s my car up for sale, and a reluctant sale at that. Mortgage is up for renewal and we all know what the rate difference was 5 years ago. The car was registered in 2004 as stated, first registered in the IoM 2021, which means it went through our local tests then (they are thorough). But thanks for commenting, hopefully an algo somewhere has put this to the top.
 
I hope you manage to sell. However the guys do raise a valid point. It's *generally* considered bad form to join a forum for the sole (or apparent) purpose of selling a car. And, as you can see, it does prompt speculation as to the motivations of the seller.
Especially when the advert is verbatim the auction house's pitch.

Now, that's just me, I have no axe to grind either way. *Personally* I'd have explained the circumstances, written my own blurb and then probably a link to the auction. But we're an insular bunch here, and set in our ways.

As I drove the car to the Auction car park I was doubting my decision and questioning my marriage, but my wife assures me I can get another once the mortgage is clear. Now to find a side hustle to clear the mortgage!
 
I must admit, I have no idea. I’ve only ever bought in the UK and brought it to the IoM. Chat GOT tells me there is VAT as it’s classed as an import, which is insane when we have VAT agreements in place!
 
If it's a UK car, exported to IOM then reimported back to the UK then would it be liable for VAT as it's already been paid when it was originally sold?
 
Car looks lovely and the same colours as my first Maserati back in 2007.

Often thought about getting one again, but with 5 cars already a 6th would be just silly... especially as my GS only gets used to the MOT station and back.

Good luck with the sale...mine went at similar miles for £13k back in 2011.
