Mine was delivered back to me yesterday and costs £155 p m exc VAT for storage (but I discount the road tax in my man maths)

I’m in Herts and storage (if you can find any) is anything from £100/month for council lock up with no power to £400 in a share. fully secured unit with power, lights etc... ”cheap” enough for me to consider keeping it would be around £600 a year I suppose...

The 4200 is the only car of “the fleet” left ... I’ve sold a 996 C4S, Clio V6, 190E cosworth and R35 GTR in the last couple of weeks but not so much as a phone call or email about the 4200 from AT. 2 or 3 enquiries from here but only Giorgio came to see and he bought the green 04 one at auction instead. On the plus side I’ve been driving more now and loving it so not in massive rush until I’ve actually bought the replacement...
it amazes me what great value these when you look at the prices being achieved for lesser “classic” cars ... even the one at Historics last week didn’t sell. Maybe I need to find some “cheap” storage and put it away for 3 years until I’ve scratched the McL / F430 itch...
Yes I've seen it and I can confirm definitely the best one. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. Good luck with the sale.

My god that's heavy.. I pay £15 per week, fully insured dehumidified storage with battery charging, lights, power, compressor etc. for the old 3200
You can even rat in there if you get stuck

You lot down south love to get stitched ;)

Yep storage can get extortionate, but I’m not sure that us lot stuck down actually “love to get stitched“ it’s more we don’t have a choice.. supply and demand unfortunately. It’s definitely got worse in the last 3 or 4 years too. It’s sad because I’ve got a “lovely” old ex race/rally prepped Humber Super Snipe that I only paid a couple of grand for but it’s cost me more than that to store it over the last few years as it won’t fit in a standard garage as would disintegrate outside ... so I’m thinking I might have to let that go too. Or sell the house and buy a massive barn...

I guess it is all relative as things down south are more expensive but the income is higher so sort of balances out.

I've just got permission to build a 405m2 garage so hopefully will have some space to put all the cars inside in one nice space with room to spare. Maybe I should build more and rent it out

That's a big building to have in your back garden Dean and a bit of cost to build that.
You can never have enough space though :)

Given a normal double garage is about 40 m2 that will do nicely. Just needs a coffee shop.

40 m2 is massive, built a 30 m2 garage (max to avoid building regs a few years ago) and could fit 3 cars in it, just, with one my Elise at the time.

Well I have got the biggest workshop i have ever had with a house 225 metres downstairs and the same above.
You couldn't build it for what we paid for the whole property.

Yes 405m2 is quite large but we have permission to build upto about 800m2 of outbuildings so I thought I might as well use the space!

Built a new office that is 13m x 5m as well. I have been busy!
