I have a 3200 GTA that I'm breaking for spares. It's from 2000, has done just over 59,000 miles and when last driven the engine, gearbox, driveline and suspension were all in excellent condition and performing how they should. Body panels are also in very good to excellent condition as can be seen in the photos below.

We also have a video of this car out on the road so you can see and hear it all for yourself:

All parts are available including the complete engine with recently refurbished throttle, automatic gearbox, all suspension components, body panels and doors, black leather interior, electrics/wiring looms and anything else you can think of. Happy to post pretty much everything or collection is available from Norwich, Norfolk.

Can I ask why you are breaking if it drives? That would be regretful in 10 years trust me.

I'm fairly sure this car was advertised for sale for quite a while, the later version of the advert listed some issues I seem to recall.

Being sold by v8engines.com who are RPI who made some tail pipes for the 3200 back in the day.

I must say, I am a bit annoyed to see a serviceable car being broken for spares when its all in good condition...or is there something we are not being told?

"There are 3 warning lights displaying on the dashboard, ABS, ARS and Aibag lights and whilst the center console is in good cosmetic condition, some of the buttons do not work. The car runs and drives with those lights on as it is moved around the yard."

It was up for £12k with those listed faults, which is probably enough to deter the already miniscule potential audience. Still criminal to break it though.

In that case it would probably make sense (from a business point of view) to break it as they would probably get more for the parts if they have enough interest. They are not concerned about the preservation of a rare car.

Despite having the vehicle advertised for almost a year with lowering the price several times there were no takers to buy the car at a sensible price/what it is worth as a car. Yes it is a shame to be breaking such a lovely car however its value is worth so much more in parts and will help keep other cherished 3200’s on the road for many years to come.

Guess the ecu is shot given no reply. Good luck breaking her, a shame but understand the problem of trying to sell with warning lights.

If I was you I would email people like autoshield,David askew and Emblem to see if they know of anyone who could repair it. I would also consider Modena performance in Germany as they certainly modified the ECU when offering there tuuning mods.

I think there is a set of keys. Immobiliser and ECU on eBay for £995. Are you sure its the ECU what is the problem?

So Greg mate, lets start again, what do you actually need to get your old 3200 up and running?
