Hi Guys
Just taken delivery of this car and immediately realised I'd made a mistake in buying it.
My variable mobility can't handle it.
Fundamentally, its a solid, straight car with a very willing engine. No SH, but looks to have
been well cared for.

Ad is here Porsche 944 Advertised at £3,495. £3,000 to forum members.
PM me if you'd like to discuss. The ad contains everything I know about the car
and I don't know Porsches at all, so can't help with any general advice etc.
I can help you arrange shipping, door to door, for very approx £320 + Vat.

You will probably generate more interest on 911uk.com than this site in all honesty.

I've never been interested with any front engined Porsche 944, 924, 968, 928 etc. But there is a sub section on the 911 forum for these front engined Porsche cars.

But beware! Full of self-proclaimed Porsche experts who behave more like tyre kickers and cut you down on this, then that, and a fair few who may tgen decide it's not for them! So be prepared for a lot of time wasters. Try ringing 911Virgin in Uxbridge for an idea of value - only because you mention you know very little about the marque. Of course they will all tell you the market is chasing 968 CS cars - but tell 'em it aint a 968, its a 944 and silence.

Thanks. Offering it here, because it appears to be a very good car, just needing some tlc and some people here dabble in other marques. There's a fair bit of interest over here (N.I.) in 944s atm, so while its producing enquiries via local ads, I'm happy enough.

I suspect McMillan Porsche will take this off you! Or try him for a sale or return. The last Porsche I bought was a money pit and it was a good example, never again would I buy a porkie. There again ppl swear by them, just like we swear by masers.

Bought my first Porsche on 05 987.1 and loving it done nearly 4,000 miles in 3 months.
Only costs getting it out of the UK and registered in France which was pretty painless really.
Like anything try and find the best in your budget.

Thanks Chris. Had forgotten about our local specialists.
Hopefully I'll get retail and not have to take trade price.
What did you have? 996?

Boxster or Cayman Phil? The numbers confuse me ;)
