Old news but I've just seen that the 100,000th Ghibli was produces at the Giovanni Agnelli factory in September 2019. Ghibli production started in 2013 so that's around 16k units per annum.

For those of you that are interested, the 100,000th model was a Ghibli S Q4 in GranSport trim with Blu Emozione exterior colour and interior in black natural full-grain Pieno Fiore leather.

Congratulations Maserati

I also see from various places that Maserati's sales in the UK in 2019 were down >25% to less than a 1000 units! To be fair most luxury car makers are in the same boat but PSA has a lot to do to turn things around.

There were times in the 1990's when the UK sales were barely into double figures, with Meridien as the sole dealer. Using those days as a yardstick, selling 1000 cars is incredible.

Selling 100,000 Ghibli's is a great achievement, even it is below what Maserati originally planned/wanted. And at least the company is still alive.

4x the volume of the QPV over a similar period and 40x the volume of the QPIII and QPIV models!
