Yes I am the new owner! I did say i wouldn’t buy another QP but who am I kidding?. I can’t resist a QP especially in an unusual colour and good mechanically for a great price. It’s already booked into the paint shop and I’ve not even took delivery yet. Separate thread to follow the progress! And yes it is @outrun fault again!!
Welcome back !

Cars arrived in Glasgow safely. There was a break in the rain for me to give it a clean. Absolutely over the moon with the car.

Congratulations for the purchase. It is a beautiful car and with those thoughtful modifications sounds like it has been appreciated.

From your perspective, I understand that previously owned one of the later (post face-lift) QPV that you sold not too long ago.

Obviously this one is very good value and all but how do you feel going to an early/DS ?

I like the DS model. You don’t get the downshift blips on the full Auto. This car has had a recent clutch and you can tell it’s been set up correctly. It changes gear very well. Must have done 100 miles in it today. Very enjoyable:) and being the dry sump I don’t have the variator issue to worry about. Win win!

I'm with you, I had my DS for 3yrs now and recently fitted new clutch and bearings and is very nice. It's just that the consensus has been that the full auto is a progress /not just different over the DS and you rarely hear otherwise. Nice to hear your are putting it in good use, enjoy!

Gutted! Been lurking and looking on and off for the last year for a QP to scratch that itch. This would have been perfect. If the new owner wants to sell it happy to pay £5,001;)
