Basically, press the throttle to the floor twice before starting the car, essentially a throttle re-learn procedure each time. Wasn’t me who sorted it, all kudos goes to everyone who suggested correctly and Dale fixing it for me!

Well thank you all for the suggestions, I can let you all know that the warnings were due to a failed rear wheel bearing (drivers-side), which has since been repaired by Dale of Prestige Autoworks on the driveway! (Great guy)! Cleaned the throttle body of the car, and got a new suggested start...

no battery light so that puts that to rest I guess... all points towards the wheel bearing for the lights then.... Just this throttle issue... there was a definitely re-applying of power happening whilst de-accelerating from a foot off throttle scenario... you could feel the car coming back...

No battery is fine, full of life and recharged anyway... restarted since and lights still remain so looking like the wheel bearing potentially?

hmmm this could be something to follow up as well.. As I did incur some symptoms of what would normally point to an alternator last year, but seemingly it was ok... maybe not now...

Yeah potentially, I guess I just need to get the car plugged in when I can to see what has flashed up, but not ruling it out for sure

Yeah I am considering it could be the battery, been made aware of the tracker potentially draining my battery as well which I didn’t consider, so seems that I may have 3 potential roots of the cause.

Yes just been in the phone to StuartW and he suggested the same thing with wheel bearings for the dash lights... so need to get it plugged in to diagnose it for sure... Also, we thought perhaps a throttle re-learn might cause the seemingly sticking throttle.

yeah I did think coil packs as a potential but no acidic smell

In terms of it being ok? Or in terms of the issues being battery related?

Yeah got to admit if there is a better screen then i would prefer that all day long... along with the new unit, subject to pricing but as long as there isn't a massive difference then im on board...
