The carplay system seems to connect through the auxiliary port. I currently use the auxiliary port for a Bluetooth adapter to connect my phone to play music and talk. Will I need to get some sort of splitter to run the Bluetooth as well or is there a Bluetooth receiver within the carplay system?

I would like a confirmation if this can be installed on a car without Bluetooth, and without a data USB port. Only power USB port. If this functions will this be able to give me Bluetooth phone connection as well through the provided app?

I will likely want to join the second list as well. My problem is I’m located in the US and I’m a bit concerned about finding a competent installer who won’t charge me an arm and a leg. Does anyone know of somehow who has done the install in the US preferably in the NY metro area?
