Sam - did sounds a bit naughty in Race.. good thing. Id say im happy with my set up. I could be tempted to see what a H pipe sounds like with my CATS tbh. No rush, but its a thought. Can always move it on if i dont like it. I did that with the X pipe. Its trial and error. Sams has more crackle...

Hi. Im actually going to be in that area (with my car) this Weds / Thursday. I have a meeting at McLaren on Thursday afternoon. Im driving down Weds evening 6 - 7pm ish / driving back up Thursday around 3pm ish. M1 is just on the route. :) Could work?

It was more the tone change vs the volume increase i disliked. I loved the volume when the car was on full chat... But it had a really tinny, rasp sound - particularly at a certain rev range - circa 3k rpm - 5k rpm. It lost its base tone. Very cheap and metallic sound IMO. Quite off-putting TBH...

Hi Scaf. Im in the midlands. Near to Banbury area. Yeah i did see those H pipes and i contacted him a while back. Its not resonated, and i am not sure if that is the way to go or the resonated Larini. This whole thing is a trial and error process TBH.

Id like to try the H. I didnt like the X pipe, so i removed it and just kept the Sports cats. I did ask Larini if they had any H, but they lost all their stock a couple of months back in a fire.. so they told me. May try one at some point, but the rasp with the X i didnt like at all.

It looks fake. Look at the ripples/bubbles on the front bumper under the air intake right hand side. Looks like wrap that has been poorly laid over open intakes or just poorly attached.

I'm guessing it was another Rosso colour.

Perhaps it was a one off - somebody important spec'd it or had it done as a custom from factory - maybe even was the reason for making it an option on the Centennial..

Did they ever make a 2 seater Rosso Magma? I thought Magma was introduced on the centennial which was after the 2 seater strad.

the Larini cats would give 20+hp alone (x pipe 3 or 4hp) so the remap only giving 20hp? Not huge... imo. What is the torque increase?

CATS are different dependent of the box, but the x-pipe is agnostic and same for all. 99% sure of that.
