BMW X3 F25 diesel cut off relay: where/how?

Well it does say "about anything else"... https://www.bimmerfest.com/threads/non-oem-gps-tracker-installation-cut-off-relay-where-to-cut.1438318/ No luck there it seems, and you lot are far smarter and kinder too. So with all the carjackings down here I've fitted a great aftermarket GPS...

Coming to Bristol 11 - 18 May, any Maser/car nut activities worth seeing?

Afternoon. Some may know I live on distant shores, but going to see my lad a uni in Bristol on those dates, and will have time to include some car nut activities in the agenda. Anything? A pint or two with a similar nut from the forum? Any car shows? Cheers. (PS, will have dodgy, cheap-***...

    Great Battery tester

Wondering how good your battery is? This little puppy has everything you need. I've tested it on 6 and 12v batteries, before and after conditioning and in real starting/driving conditions. It cost me 40US$. Absolutely no connection with sellers, just a very happy customer.

Nice QP in new Bond film

Went to see the latest Bond thingy, No Time to Die, and was tickled to see a rather handsome QP IV in the opening chase scene! Quite a good flick too.

And Now for something different (P356)

First off, sorry for quiet period from me on here. Rather trying to keep things together, we have about the Worlds worst covid stats right now here in Chile, and things are pretty grim. Combine that with winter (or shortest day, today, in fact) and things are quite dismal. But, a pandemic never...

Stradale CCB pads: Brembo part numbers?

Unfortunately my pads are getting a little too thin. What is minimum thickness, and had anyone spied a Brembo part number that may be cheaper than the Maserati package?

    Sending money to the US

I'm looking to send some money from the UK in GBP to my US$ account in the US. Lloyds banks international payment service versus Google showed a US$2000 disparity!!! Can anyone recommend a reputable online money transfer service? Thanks!

ASR, unable to select blah blah every day more frequent, when cold

The strad has been great for 3 years now. I only use it 2 or 3 times a month, and I am progressively seeing more of the Tesco Xmas tree lights. Either "unable to select gear" or "ASR" both with the go to dealer thingy. Always cold, never warm. Battery replaced two months ago, Yuasa. CTEK MX5...

What's this, and how fast should I run?

https://www.chileautos.cl/vehiculos/detalles/2005-maserati-coupe-cambiocorsa-/cl-ad-8064159?s=20 FYI thats about 15K GBP. They don't come up here too often, and most owners are dying to get rid of them. An opportunity to shove another maser in the garage?

    Stadale Battery

Mine, production date late 2012, is on it's original battery, and funny business is just starting. Think Christmas tree lights in a pound shop. What is the current replacement preference? Bosch? Would most appreciate brand and part numbers to look for down here. Thanks in advance.

Fitting FD Spacers to My Strad - Torque Question

So, I have a nice set of used FD Spacers going on the Strad today, no instructions here, but imagining spacer to hub torque is same as original torque setting? Going to clean up my right ebrake and hub while I'm at it (left done some time ago) before they explode.

Enzo Ferrari called it "the most beautiful car ever made" - E Type Jag

These things have always seemed utterly lovely to me, and, despite imperial nuts and bolts and British reliability, I am thinking about one. Also, at about 50 years old, a new law here means I can import one from the US, where the prices seem reasonable, and the LHD suits. Any forum members...

Stradale on the Track - Volume UP

Just about says it all really. Had a great day out, took my son, his mates, his mates cousins...... etc etc for a spin. The car behaved wonderfully, far better than I could ever have hoped, and allowed/forgave my cr4ppy driving. I was in the "Supercar"group: 570, F812, F488, F458 and a GTR...

Pre - track day tinkering tips for the Stradale

Well, 8th of December I have a track day and I have the strad booked in the MD for this Monday. The only things I am planning on doing are: - Engine oil + filter - F1 system oil change (bled with SD3) - Clutch wear check and pull any other error codes Seems boring, I know, but anything else...

    Mclaren 650s - don't shoot!

To those who have driven one, or the 570 etc. What do you think? I am a little too close to a 650s now, and we are getting to the man-math part, so am getting worried. I was (still am) in love with a 458 Spider, but the right one never showed at the right price, and the main dealers (or better...

Video Upload without third party services?

Is there any way to upload video directly without first having to upload it to a third party website? I (and many I guess) try to keep my private life as off line as possible - third party websites spread our digital footprint too wide. Would be a cool feature.

    You think Maserati's are fussy?

BMW X3, 36k miles, rear disks need changing and I'm on second set of pads. Look at that angled wear too! Quite pxxxed off. On the bright side, it's easy uploading photos with taptalk! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

F458 Spyder - honest opinions wanted..

Probably a good idea that this is the Humour forum section, because I'm sure this won't go anywhere ... but... My plan was to look for another car in our autumn, about 3 month away, and look through the winter. But this car has turned up: F458 Spyder. 2014. White with red interior (!), 1200...
