sorry the car is at the shop for reparing the bumper and the bonnet, and will probably stay there until when I don't find a solution for the headlights. Anyhow as said the lenses are pretty ok, both headlights are cracked in the backside (left one has fallen down into the bumper)

As said, this was the lesson for me... Will look for a solution, in the meanwhile the car will stay out of the road. Even I can afford the cost there's no way I'll put all that money in 2 headlights, that's for sure

they're broken in the bodies, one is in a million pieces, other one may be with some glue and some hand-crafted bracket could be repairable. Considering the cost I'll certainly try to repair this one.

The covers are pretty ok, scratched but not broken. It's the rear part of both that has broken

I don't have a fully comprehensive insurance, unfortunately. I have just law insurance for the damages I cause to others, not for me. Yes, it's a mistake not having it, now I got the lesson...

will check, thanks for the advice. Insurance will pay NOTHING, because the road had a signal that means 'beware of crossing animals', so according to our (stupid) laws in case you hit an animal it's totally your fault. You should stop, call the Police, and then you probably get a ticket because...

finally tested the car with the new springs, all issues are gone! Now it drives very well in all conditions. The worn springs were definetly causing big troubles to the car behaviour, tanks to everybody for helping me in finding the root cause.

finally the new front springs have been fitted, now I'm waiting to get back the car from the shop that is replacing the head-covers gaskets to test it on the road. The old springs that have been removed were some mm. shorter than the new ones so they were probably worn

Some days ago I had an oil leak from the left head cover gasket, which I know is a common issue for a 10 years old Granturismo, so I've taken the car to the shop to get it fixed (and to install my new front shock springs that were waiting on the shelf) but when the technician opened the covers...

stunning car, I've seen few mules on the road during the last year because I live quite close to the factory. Initially they started the development with a Giulia-like body and was fun to see that strange veichle driving around. This new Granturismo is priced very high for me, but I'm not able...

Got the new springs (OEM) 10 days ago, but still waiting for my tyre-shop to fit them on the car...quite angry about this delay. Should happen end of current week. In the end I've ordered to a Maserati dealer, paid €190 in total and got them in 1 week time. Will keep you up to date once fitted.

Thank you for the advice but I like the skyhooks, I drive my car mainly on long distances and the comfort they return is absolutely superior to the fixed dampers of the Stradale/MC (which are certainly superior for aggressive drive). Will look for the springs on eurospares, thanks a lot.
