For which engine? The V6 engines starting with AM 490 (Racing) utilized a redesigned rotating assembly, with significant weight reductions. I have spare used pistons for the 2.0L engine but they are different then in the Biturbo engines.

I think 2.24 uses tapered roller bearings, 2-2 both in the front and rear hubs. Based on the bearing numbers after disassembly, you should be able to find replacements.

I've cleaned and degreased everything, at least as I remember. I think the problem is that I've run out of the factory one, and used a different one. It was also viton, but maybe 0.1mm smaller in diameter. Looked up my notes, everything is there, except this, so not sure.
