Thanks @redsonnylee I've ordered a different one now, it looks like it has narrower pins, but can't be 100% sure as the pics were not great, if it fits, I'll edit my post above with the product page.

Having been through a heck of a lot of pain on trying to get my shocks replaced with Dick Lovett, they eventually sent off the M.O.T negating unit to Bilstein in Leicester. They were able to refurb the unit and all seems well now. Just thought I'd share this in-case anyone hits this hurdle in...

Question is, is the microswitch replaceable?

OK, so the the three-pin connector isn't right, the pins are way too fat for the Maserati interface :frusty5:

I need to determine what exactly is going on with it really. Hopefully is just some kind of contacts issue.

Come to think of it, the window on the driver's side doesn't drop when I pull on the door handle either!

Looking at the workshop manual it would seem SW3 (Driver's side power window position sensor) is not working correctly. I guess I'll have some fun trying to remove the door card and make sure its still connected OK (not corroded etc)

Anyone had issues with this? Motor just keeps going (causing it to jump teeth on the cog!!!) when the window has fully closed.

Sorry I didn't see your extra comments, thanks for your advice Conaero, I'll have to see if someone can come out and do this as the car is stuck in the garage and there's very little room to manoeuvre!

They had positive feed coming out of the lighting ecu/fuse area (under the passenger foot well.) What I couldn't determine on my own was the output coming from the fuse box on the bulkhead because for some reason the cam covers (?) were so far back if couldn't be lifted off by me!) I don't...

lol do I need to carry a brick or two around with me? :)
