Up under the drivers side dash on LHD cars. I believe the original was a green relay. There might be a thread on here with pics somewhere. I'll try and round up the files they gave me, the app wasn't on the google play store. You'll need to load it on a usb thumb drive.

I don't think it was the connector's as it started acting up after I shot that video. I turned out to be the turn signal/hazard relay under the dash. I replaced it with the bmw one suggested elsewhere. I do still have an issue were the right turn signal blinks the hazzard button but at least...

Those are the two issues I still have. I'm planning on using a buck converter as someone mentioned in another post for the console lights. Right now mine is all apart as I'm slowly putting the interior back together after changing the heater core.

For me, it was the flasher under the dash. Do you know for sure it was working before you installed? I would also double check the connections.

I definitely need to pick up some offset screwdrivers, would have come in handy when I changed the instrument cluster bulbs. I'm thinking about using sandwich bags for the bolts and labeling them with a marker.

I'm getting close to tearing mine down as well. I ordered the alfa part, just waiting for it to come in.

Sound quality seems ok to me, but my car has aftermarket speakers so YMMV on that one. Wired carplay works through the zlink app. I think this is the way most android units work. If you think this part is bad wait until you try and get the flanbloc's out. I had one bad front upper bushing, I decided to change all front upper bushings. It's a pain to put it lightly. My car has almost 100K miles but the rust on my line wasn't that bad, I'd also recommend changes the lines...

Cold boot + working hazards, I think one of the pins in the harness was not touching. Only thing not working now is the lower dash lights.

I went to run the cable down and the hvac plastics crumbled so I had to put that mess back together. They do have a plug that goes where the powered lights are but it doesn't seem to work. That harness seems to also split off for the hazard switch. All the hazard switch does is light up and...

I just did this the other day, remove upper rear seat and side panel. Pop the lower seat up to run the wire under the seat and carpet. there's a coupe rubber grommets that wires go through you can use. I taped the wires to a piece of brake line to poke them through.

Hmm the lower dash lights aren't working, does anyone else that has the acar have that problem? I know it's common with replacing with aftermarket. This thing is a wiring rats nest lol Took me a while to get canbus working.

Just happened to see this post and I will say be careful paying for tolls with a card in italy. When traveling we came across a toll where the applepay, nfc wouldn't work and I had to use card. It was the only time I didn't use the tap to pay and while I was there started getting random purchase...

That was part of the motivation for sure, that being said I think i kinda prefer them. I will probably paint the originals and hang onto them just in case.
