I've got a QP-sized Auto Cover languishing in the garage while my QP sits uncovered on the drive. Living on a hill, the wind whips about up here. So while the cover was tethered and weather resistant, it kept getting forcibly repositioned by the wind, resulting in me abandoning it.

When my battery went dead last year, the alarm worked for a bit after the car wouldn't start, but then eventually that stopped working too and the car sealed itself like a tomb. The only way in was through the boot. The RAC used their diagnostics to check for any issues and then installed a new...

I met the owner of that '97 QPIV at a car event last year. He said he was a mechanic and sorted all the issues having bought it at auction. It looked fantastic and drew a lot of attention from the good folk of Chesham.

Ah good call, Nibby. Think my QPV is inelligible - too young by a couple of years - but will see if I can cadge a lift with CLEST instead.

Would also recommend Giallo - Matthew is very knowledgeable, as Alan says, and helped me fix the essentials on my QP shortly after I purchased.

Just given the QPV a wash to celebrate purchasng my Salon Prive ticket :-)

Last week's MOT confirms 1,440 miles for my QPV over the past 12 months. I reckon that's c. £2.18 per mile (assuming no depreciation!!). Not a bad year. Upping the mileage would help the cost per mile, if not the resale value. :-)

x2 Calculated that the QPV cost £2.18 per mile over the last 12mths. (Worth every penny BTW!) As a comparison, our ancient V70 is about 38p!

Got a fresh MOT on the QPV courtesy of the good folk at Barr-Tech (recommended by the way) and passed this milestone on the way.

Just resurfaced having unexpectedly watched the race live. Woke up randomly at 3.50 and thought I might as well catch the start. Padded downstairs to find my son watching the build up - not a bad effort considering he got in at 1am!!
