    QP / GTS Polybushes

I have built several race Mgbs and Mgbv8s which handle a sight better with poly bushes and have run two Alfa Romeo 156 sportwagon s, one quite modified, which have had every single rubber bush replaced with poly bushes for over a decade: again, a vast improvement: simply put, the replacement of...

Zep's uprated 4.7 brake disc and pad combination

I've had Zep's big disc conversion fitted to my Granturismo; it's TRANSFORMED the braking and driveabilty - and before anyone asks the original discs/pads were in good condition, and had braided hoses fitted prior to the conversion, so the factory setup was as good as it could be. Zep's kit is a...

What features do you like most about your Granturismo?

I love the look of the Granturismo, the sound ( now even better with urutu's carbonfibre sound horns/airpipe, x pipe and Larini sports Cats pipes), the handling and, with Zep's big brake kit plus braided brake hoses , to misquote Oddball from Kelly's Heroes, I can get outta trouble quicker than...

GT Engine Covers - Dipped in Carbon

In my opinion, Ash's engine covers look very smart and are a big improvement over the acreage of black plastic in most Granturismo engine bays; well done, that man!! What about the scuttle under the wipers? I'm thinking dipping this panel would seriously enhance the Granturismo front end. Or...

When fitting Larini Sport Cats and X pipe are there any other parts one might require?

Hello Ashventini Please post how you get on with the hydro dipping/ carbon fibre effect; it's a thing I've been contemplating as the only thing I'm not too keen on is the amount of black plastic under the bonnet! Best of luck with the sports cats & X pipe, one the best moments for me was the...

When fitting Larini Sport Cats and X pipe are there any other parts one might require?

I used to demonstrate all types of classic cars for a firm that did short and long term hire, but one of my favourites was a heavily modified Mk2 Jaguar that really did sound like a Supermarine Spitfire...#went like a Scalded Cat!!; a 4.7 Granturismo with Sports Cats and X pipe ( especially @...

When fitting Larini Sport Cats and X pipe are there any other parts one might require?

Have had the Larini Sports Cats and X pipe fitted to the Granturismo by the Sportsitalia chaps - I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! Giggle factor? Off the scale!! If you are considering doing this I HIGHLY recommend it. Makes you want to drive with the Windows down, even when it's nippy out and...

When fitting Larini Sport Cats and X pipe are there any other parts one might require?

my .....reputation with the neighbours never really recovered after I rather blew our old garden bench to smithereens (what a simply marvellous word that is; not used enough these days!) one New Years eve when everyone else in the village seemed to be letting off fireworks and I had none. I did...

When fitting Larini Sport Cats and X pipe are there any other parts one might require?

Thanks Misha; I have been reassured that " I won't be disappointed with the result!!! " from several people - I'm hoping it's at least epic, and sets off car alarms at 4000+ rpm! (I once had a MGB roadster with a 2 litre race engine, weber carb and 2" twin exit stainless exhaust which did the...

When fitting Larini Sport Cats and X pipe are there any other parts one might require?

Once again, Gentlemen my thanks for your help and advice. It's greatly appreciated and I've decided to stretch my patience and wait to have the sports cats/X pipe fitted by some chaps you've probably heard of, near Southampton.... Gives me the chance to fit all the twiddly bits in the meantime...

When fitting Larini Sport Cats and X pipe are there any other parts one might require?

Whilst in an ideal world I'd go to The Guys at Sportsitalia, I've waited for a month for the Larini Sports Cats to arrive and I'd quite like to get these fitted and unleash the beast. Plus my local chap is a top flight auto electrician who I know will do a great job fitting the extra.....let's...

Giving serious thought to fitting spacers on the Granturismo; is 22mm front/30mm rear too much?

Hello Beps I found them on ebay, from tunershop-worldwide, after doing a search for 'Maserati Granturismo wheel spacers'; there should be a couple in each size still available ( there were when I bought them last night). I hope that helps you. kind regards The Captain

Giving serious thought to fitting spacers on the Granturismo; is 22mm front/30mm rear too much?

Hills Engineering stuff is very nice indeed but I won't need their wheel bolts as the H&R spacers are the bolt on variety which the wheel then bolts on to, using the original wheel bolts ( if that makes sense!). I've had the other option using longer bolts and spacers on the Alfa Romeo 156...
