Marios If the engineer in the midlands does make an accurate batch of water/oil pump shafts it may be useful to keep him onside so that he can manufacture more batches in the future.

So if you get a new shaft and this Ferrari rebuild kit, I assume we can rebuild these units and keep these marvellous cars on the road

That sounds like a good solution going forward. Migliore Maserati have a customer who is making half a dozen new water pump shafts as we speak.

Quick update guys. Autoshield Maserati have sourced another pump that is hopefully ok. They are fitting it tomorrow

F430 pump assemblies are still available but I need to know if they are interchangeable??? GP79 thinks they may be but for the pressure relief valve Anyone got any more knowledge on this??

The shaft on that looks rusty tbh I wonder if the Ferrari ones are still available new?

Hi guys I have a small coolant leak from the water pump O ring. Is there any problem with adding one of those tablets to the expansion tank that seal radiator holes. Thanks

Quick update. I forgot to mention I got a P0116 twice when the temp was showing 45 degrees. Hopefully this is another indicator of faulty temp sensor

If the coolant boiled where would it come out? From the radiator or the the expansion tank? Or is there a blow off valve somewhere with a drain pipe?

Oil is good, no sign of emulsion and level spot on. Had a service 300 miles ago

Yep coolant topped up. When (if) it ever stops raining round here I will take her for a spirited drive and see what the temp gauge does and if any leaks appear
