MD13FBB - Looking to buy this Granturismo, does anybody know the car??

I bought mine 2 years ago from Dicky, still going strong, no issues, love it to pieces. He had the subframes sealed for me before I bought it too and had a (I think) 6 month warranty attached. He helped me out too when I had a minor ding and a also battery cock up meaning I couldn't open the...

What features do you like most about your Granturismo?

The change in exhaust pitch between 2.5k and 3.5k revs - sounds like a banshee!!! Also love the 'quirky' electronics...

    Crossing the Continent

Belatedly coming back on this thread. All advice was top drawer. Cruised beautifully, exited the tolls at high rev, made sure fuel never dropped below 1/4. The GT LOVED the roads, just chewed them up. And I've never had so many heads turned!! Took Mrs. plus 2 x sprogs and was fantastic. Blip and...

    Crossing the Continent

BTW, my old Emovis tag had run out of battery or expired (it tells you when you log into your account) and I had to get a new one. To be fair it arrived within 24 hrs of ordering, but just worth checking yours is still in working order before you head to Europe.

I had to do the Flexi thing too, daylight robbery. I'll be heading in the opposite direction, but hope you have an awesome time at Spa.

    Crossing the Continent

Ah, yes, that must have been what they meant when they observed the car clearance and width. Nice to know they actually give a sh17

    Crossing the Continent

That's a great shout, will do. And points on fuel duly noted. (I'd love a 612 Scaglietti, gorgeous.)

    Crossing the Continent

Really helpful, thank you. Too late to book the coach carriage annoyingly, but they have said they know the car 'has low clearance and is wide' and have made some kind of accommodation. The Emovis thing is brilliant. Cheers.

Beautiful, love Antibes - we'll be up and left a bit in Bergerac. Yep, done tyres, coolant, windscreen and oil. All good.

    Crossing the Continent

Hi All, Wondering if anyone has any advice / do's / don'ts before I take my '16 GT across Europe. Just passed MOT, has 14,000 miles on the clock and no apparent issues (other than parking sensors don't work). Cheers

    GTECHNIQ UPDATE

GTECHNIQ isn't self healing...as far as I'm aware - I could give it a go with a wire brush to check but...... You need the graphene based polymers for that. Or that 3M PPF film stuff I believe. The guy who did mine said the graphene product was really interesting and has huge potential, but he...

    GTECHNIQ UPDATE

I'd met them before and seen their work, but they hadn't seen the car before I booked it in. TBH the car was in great condition and he called me after his initial assessment with which I agreed - nothing needed on the interior, no paint correction. We spoke over the phone, I told him what I...

    GTECHNIQ UPDATE

I had done some business with them previously and I think they looked after me. Also no paint correction needed as car was already in great shape.

    GTECHNIQ UPDATE

Everyone knows red is a heavier colour and therefor slows you down :) To be fair, while it's a '16 plate, the car, which I bought from Dicky Grace, was in exceptionally good nick. Even the detailers were surprised at its condition.

    GTECHNIQ UPDATE

Following on from my query about GTECHNIQ, I took the plunge and had my 2016 GT done: 'decontamination', full interior clean and disinfection, all body work and wheel faces GTECHNIQ Ultra ceramic coated, GTECHNIQ smart glass treated, engine bay cleaned, exhaust tips done. They also replaced the...
