Hmm could be. Not thought about that. Clearly the colour used is matching the engine bay paint which is a dark anthracite colour and could have been used after zink spray. I am now also following it up at the factory to see if anybody there can point in the right direction.

I personally think certification and spare parts are somewhat isolated topics. Yes at the end they connect but the main goal of MAserati Classiche is to keep cars on the street where the belong and maintain its heritage. You simply need parts for this. Certification comes later and nice to have...

I have been in contact with the Classiche department several times but absolutely nothing moves there. The goal is to keep older Maserati’s ‘on the street’ so logically you would start with 1st tier being MOT related parts as headlights, windscreens, brakes etc to at least have cars pass yearly...

Haha, went atleast down in price. Same garage as last years. Lets see. Still too high imo with those specs but on the other hand you only need one person with the funds that wants one. They are rare to find. Remains very nice but not against Cup money.

Co-incidentally on the site when bidding was in last minute. It showed last bid of €55K and then closed. Still good money for a GT limited edition but would not be surprised if it pops again for sale as originally they wanted +€70K for this Ghib (don’t even think a Cup would really do €70K...

Was many years for sale through this garage. https://www.garageponzio.it They showed it also during last Padova show. Believe it was always priced between 70-80K. Curious to see for what price it will go (and if it hits the reserve)

Did the same 3 years ago, visited Candini Maserati workshop (recommendation!) and came home with a Ghibli II haha

It’s the D35 (35cm) same as on the integrale Evo. Be carefull as people are asking ridicilious prices for these items but it’s just a standard aftermarket Momo wheel produced to fit many cars/ extension type. Many available but once attached to the Cup or Integrale name the price triples…..
