I did mine without removing the wheel, theres just about enough room if you have a steady hand at least. The potential to lose a screw is quite high though

I have this with mine and was fearing the worst that the frames were beginning to rot underneath the rubber. Glad its fixable. Another job to add to the list.....

Haha, i did think of turning them off but have gone the other way and driving everwhere on dipped beam right now such is the crappy grey weather. They do just look like side light bulbs to be fair, will know more once ive had them pulled out

Looks like one of my DRLs has blown. Does anyone know the bulb fitment type of these and also the side lights and whether there's a decent LED alternative for either that dont throw CANBUS errors and have some longevity given the aggro involved with changing them?

Slats:- 4.2 they're black, 4.7 S theyre chrome, GTS are concave black

Who are auto100.uk? They always seem to have QP6s for sale on autotrader but noticed recently a 4.2 QP5 which theyre punting at a higher price than an an equivalent newer QP6. Are QP5s increasing in value over QP6s?

With regards variators, you need to hear a fresh cold start after its been stood for a night, if the seller has started it before you or your inspection guy showed up it would be easy to disguise

Thought I’d ressurect this thread as it’s the one thing that’s starting to let my car down, the leather has started peeling on 3 of my door cards, particularly in the pockets, plus after the last few days of heat the sides of the centre console too…my car is literally melting and a long time out...

Mine had been in storage for a couple of years before I bought it. Even with a fresh battery it took a couple of weeks for all the electrical gremlins to sort themselves out. Its like the car had to relearn everything again from scratch! From the locks to door handles to gearbox kickdown.

tbf the standard brakes on the QP (both 4 and 6pot calipers) are shocking compared with anything German. Its like the on-paper spec looks amazing but we've been cat-fished :oops:. If these inspire confidence its only a good thing
