    2 Seater Stradale anyone.

Is this the ex press car that also featured on Top Gear?

I'd like to buy a Strad. Anyone selling a decent one for a good price

Having been fortunate enough to have driven both, personally found the Audi R8 alot more like a 'supercar' in its feel and drive. The Stradale was superb but did still feel like a big GT car. An Audi R8 at £50k with that 5.2 V10 out of the Lamborghini is amazing value IMO.

    Centennial Strad at Auction soon...

On CC you have to keep your cool as a seller too as you get calls to lower/remove the reserve price set (close to the auction end time) if CC feel they may not achieve the sale. This is understandable as they are incentivised to make a sale happen so they get their 6%.

    Ferrari Warranty extension

Had the Ferrari warranty on one of my previous cars, and having read the small print it pretty much only covered engine and gearbox. It was around £3.5k for a year, however despite its pretty woeful coverage I slept a bit better at night knowing the big ticket items were covered.

Ferrari Gto ! Oh no it isn't

Agreed, not sure the article makes the dealer look great in this specific scenario. Having read the article if I had a rare car like a GTO or the like to sell or px, I would not want to approach this dealer given they are likely to offer me less than half my cars value in the hope I would be...

Ferrari Gto ! Oh no it isn't

I agree, a 599 GTO I expect is anywhere between £400 - £600k, so if it was genuine no doubt they would have been laughing all the way to the bank when they then sold it on for a cool £250-300k profit.

    Granturismo - Carbon Roof?

If I am correct, I know this car. All the options are factory spec with the exception of the carbon look roof. It has the some pretty rare and no doubt expensive options like carbon fibre rear diffuser, carbon fibre exhaust tips and other interior ones like Carbon fibre instrument cluster with...

What other cars have you owned?

Thanks, I am forever grateful to have owned and experienced these cars but as is always the case with these things, the 'Still dreaming of owning....' list is even bigger :)

What other cars have you owned?

Good catch :) Yes, I meant LP560 although the Gallardo I had was remapped to circa. 600bhp when I had it. The Murcie LP640 is still very much on the bucket list!

What other cars have you owned?

good opportunity to reminisce about ones old flames!! My list, only going back 10-15 years or so in no particular order ..... VERY late Stradale for sale

Was bought from a Maserati Dealer (Nottingham) I believe around 6 months ago hence the warranty. Was available at between £60-65k when I spoke to sales there at the time, so I expect the current owner is trying to make a few quid on the back of the used car market being very strong at the moment.

Granturismo S vs Sport vs 2018

Unfortunately seems white, black and grey are very popular colours when people bought these cars new. I for one haven't seen many with bits like the carbon exhausts and what looks like a different rear diffuser etc.

Granturismo S vs Sport vs 2018

Thats good to know, so these options are available from factory. At approx £10k for that lot alone before other options I can see now why not many are available with that sort of spec.

Granturismo S vs Sport vs 2018

I see this car has carbon fibre in places I haven't seen on others like the side sills, exhausts, mirrors, rear diffuser fins and carbon all over interior bits like instrument/dials and paddles. etc. Does anyone know how much this would cost to option or is it an aftermarket add-on? If it was...

    Bianco Fuji Strad

I remember calling the Maserati dealer selling this very car a few months back, and with a bit of negotiation it was available at around £65-66k so I suspect the current owner who bought it is trying his luck :)

    Stradale - Cost assumptions

Congrats on the purchase. I actually enquired about that very car and only hesitated putting down a deposit based on a couple of factors they explained on the background of the car (number of owners, service history), so felt it may be worth viewing first before committing. But as they say 'you...

    Now may be the time....

I spotted that. If that was a Coupe then I would certainly have been interested as I really like the colour. On the topic of that car... I am pretty sure I spotted this same car up for £94k at a dealer.

    Now may be the time....

Thanks for all the advice guys. My search in order of preference will probably be: - 2 or 4 Seater Stradale 2013+ GTS Sport (MC Auto Shift) in a rare colour (ideally a dark blue or dark red and black interior) with a spec generous on the carbon As suggested will need to test drive some...

    Now may be the time....

Agree I meant it would be 2013+ if I went for a non-Strad (as I like the front end restyling and interior updates), but would more than be open to the 2 seater Stradale if one came available (subject to make a call on whether MC-Shift will be easy enough to live with).

    Now may be the time....

It would have to be a post 2013+ model whatever decision I make I am afraid :) I am a big fan of the updated interior seats. As per my other questions I have no idea however whether the newer models are more reliable or have had known weak points made more durable.
