    4200 oil change.

could always get a Fumoto or Stahlbus valve for easier oil draining? they are great, super easy to fit and can connect a line from the valve to the catch can to avoid pesky drips too.

Silicone hoses for 4200 / GS

Just got a complete set of Crankcase breather and coolant hoses from Roose for my S2. Paul is a great guy and the hoses are excellent quality. providing the donor hoses are in good condition then no reason to expect any problems other than thickness if the space is very tight.

    Creaking Suspension?

Sounds like dryOMG joints in the suspension like bushings, or the sleeve for the bolts that pass through them. Failing that the collars where the bushes are housed are torqued too tight? Seen it on plenty of cars, maybe where they have been torqued without the full weight of the car on them...

    Anyone know knm prestige

Seem to have a handful of GranTurismo in stock. Anyone been, bought or had dealings before? Always good to know. Based in Enfield so far as I can see.

    What you drinking now?

Just finished up some bright Itchen Valley Brewery Final Tap and some Hampshire Rose to wrap up a good Le Mans weekend.

The Road to Le Mans 2020

I have managed to avoid last years headache which involved an afternoon on Belgium beers, half a bottle of port in about 30mins and then tripping into the tent where I fell asleep. I blame the jet lag from a 13hr flight back from Bangkok and then packing off to Le Mans 36hrs later...

    The good morning thread

Morning all, finally a long, Le Mans weekend. Watching the morning free practice and Hyperpole, maybe a bit of spannering on the audi and a hydration trip to Itchen for some beer to enjoy the race with later. Oh, and a nose for a car during the Breaks. Happy Friday all!

    Hampshire Newbie

Maybe you could have politely suggested she inserted the cucumbers in her ears, issued resolved, everyone happy. Anyway, that wasnt ‘noise’, it was music

Haha, absolutely brilliant and very well put. It’s fine, everyone can relax...a quick chat and a blast in Matt’s Stradale has nailed the coffin shut on the Levante...and the one I was due to drive tomorrow has been sold. You could say the v8 gods are clearing a Devine pathway to the right...

    A 'colgate moment'...

    A 'colgate moment'...

Just to say a huge thanks to the team at SportsItalia this morning for the friendly advice and insight on owning and looking after a GT. More especially, thanks for the ride, fair to say the grin was visible from some way off an independently verified by Zep (good to meet you too, loooovely car...

GT - Tell me about ground clearance

Actually looks like most things are nicely tucked away underneath so no low hanging cats, exhaust pipe work etc so that’s good to see! No jealous, honest :p

GT - Tell me about ground clearance

Wow that off-road setting is effective!!!

Yep...as i say its a question of practicality or emotion. I have sat in a Levante and never in a GT. i am coming from an SUV, like the practicality, however it doesnt set the world alight. Levante petrol v6 is theoretically a more engaging drive, has a compelling exhaust note, trident badge and...

GT - Tell me about ground clearance

Great feedback, its that long overhang that i was worried about but seems in the main that being sensible can get you sorted. I have a low positioned oil cooler and ducting on my s2 so yes, a speed bump straddle was not on the cards there too. Love those mc shocks...!

GT - Tell me about ground clearance

Hi, firstly thanks for such a warm welcome on here, feels very much, in spirit, like the forum I run for another marque and was renowned for its community. I promise to delve deeper and use the search function too but one of the key thoughts, uppermost in my mind on the GT is nose ground...

:rofl5: just think of it as someone drop-jawing it but with less chance of them walking into the lamp-post while doing it!

Haha...noted. I had heard it was actually well balanced and reasonably capable...as an suv. Agree its a whole new ballgame when it comes to the GT
